max homa (71, tied for 49th): muy bueno news-max is rolling the rock beautifully with 106 feet in draino putts after an unreal 132 feet yesterday pero the muy mal news-homa missed 7 greens again for the 2nd consecutive round with the most damaging the flared iron right into a baseball stance with his feet in the bunker outta heavy severely sloping sidehill rough on the par 3 17th hole which resulted into a whiffed flop shot en route to a double bogey

ziqin zhou (71, tied for 24th, moving up 10 spots on the leaderboard): very good round in less windy conditions, Z is +9 for the tourney & +5 (2 doubles & a bogey) on the 375 yard dogleg left par 6th hole...this hole strategically is reminiscent of the 16th hole at pasatiempo, should just be a flighted low iron for zhou drawing with the dogleg followed by a three quarters wedge into the middle of the tricky green

real talk: beyond chase hendricks & ian strong (who seemingly get banged up every time they try to BLOCK which is a disqualifying red flag to NFL scouts), there is NO reliable wr3 (kyion grayes got the most upside) in the cal football program

ELITE wideouts charles "spida man" davis & demare "hollywood" dezeurn cannot arrive in berkeley soon enuf with their EXPLOSIVE to the ******* house styles of play!!

shocky has talked with both hollywood & the spida man a couple of times on the field at memorial stadium during the pre game warm ups, both guys are FUN (likable) with POSITIVE energy but underneath the surface is a raging INTENSITY that is lacking right now in a wr room filled with flag football personality guys

yeah just like the quiet/passive personality offensive line room (with starters watching the rb1, rb2 & rb3 get the ******* **** VIOLENTLY knocked outta them while they stand around with their hands on their hips NOT playing with their hair on fire from the snap to the whistle which is due in large part to coach famika being apparently deaf which is probably a protected disability in berkeley), there is IMMEDIATE playing time (day 1 starters on their first days out) opportunities for the 2027 cali bears high school commitments (several of whom including dajohn yarborough & giovanni hodge have directly tole me they gonna graduate hs early & matriculate this upcoming january in order to compete in 2027 spring ball)
