longterm (next season) the staff needs to keep the current 4 2027 o-line commitments with the expectation that both dajohn yarborough & isaiah bertola will be given the opportunity to be day 1 STARTERS...literally all the nil allocation dollars for new offensive players (the bears do not need any additional portal quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends or wide receivers) needs to be expended in the january transfer portal in identifying and signing at least 1 & maybe 2 IMPACT trench workers particularly at center & tackle

in the short term during the upcoming bye week famika needs to figure out why his room don't play with the necessary VIOLENCE from the snap to the whistle, why are guys standing around with their hands on their hips while plays are still ongoing instead of pushing the pile??

there is a lotta TALENT on this team but nothing is gonna change in terms of victories until the decade long abysmal o-line problems are solved

ben, based upon my couple of pregame on field conversations with hollywood & the spida man (and their families, demare's moms is big time FUN & values the berkeley degree!!) and discussing their life goals i think both will become cali bears on the upcoming december 2nd signing day, they see the unlimited opportunity to be 1st day out IMPACT wideouts given that there's really no reliable wr3 (bad hands, run poor routes, can't create separation other than kyion/tyree, don't block & are often injured) in the program behind ian & chase

philbert, my take is that rahm, his wife kelley (born in the northwest & met at asu, zero interest in living in europe) & their 4 young children who live a bunch of par 6s away from my tree fort in north scottsdale are in a really bad family situation, jon has alienated too many pga players (who passed on the dirty terrorist money)/board members for there to be a clear pathway back to the tour that does not involve meritocracy
