the same thing also applies to the colorado game in boulder which saw the buffs start a true freshman qb, we gave him time to settle into the game, that should've never happened
coach sirmon/coach wilcox should've unleashed the dogs of ******* war in both games kinda the way arizona's defensive coordinator don brown did against our out of his league qb in tucson last season on every ******* single play
this candy azz soft gameplan for notre dame was not surprising to anyone who follows cal football, the bears were undefeated at 3-0 & justin rolled with his "not gonna lose by doing anything stupid" mindset...and so he coached conservatively taking no risks & we lost
wanna hear some good news?
coach wilcox is a better/more aggressive head coach when his team got a losing record so ima expecting a much more killer attack approach this saturday at 7:00 pm at oregon state in corvallis...we saw this with his out of character onside kick in south central last weekend & also the blitz happy victories late in the season victories at home against the buffs & the beavers during last year's 5-7 losing mediocrity
but guess what?
coach wilcox is not as introspective (and probably not as emotionally available either) as me so hopefully multiple staff members are gonna show him this post so he amps us the pressure this saturday nite & more importantly in the 2023 opener and then throughout the season
look shocks is a lite drinker (he don't need alcohol to loosen up, he wuz born ready for action/movement) but if there ever wuz a head coach who would benefit from 3 tequila shots before kickoff, then justin wilcox would be that guy
his pregame speech would be slurry & sometimes difficult to decipher but the message would be simple: "we are gonna **** those guys up, ima tired of those mother*******"
real talk (the world according to shocky, jeff tedford & james bethea)#
