burnski, ur not alone in this major party/celebration possibility
funny gator damage control: florida football staff is putting it out there than jaden's absence can be attributed to an admissions issue due to the academic calendar on the west coast
saying a 3.8 gpa outstanding true student athlete is requiring additional review by admisions for acceptance in gainesville is NOT TRUE
some real ugliness going down in gainesville right now, darren heitner is the attorney who runs the gators nil collective which is primarily financed by university of florida drop out hugh hathcock who is basically their casey wasserman
There's no place for this anywhere. On top of that, Darren Heitner does not represent Jaden Rashada. JTM Sports does. https://t.co/1LrdTpQnfR
3.8 gpa jaden rashada has NOT enrolled a the university of florida, he also did not move into the football dorms with the rest of the gators early enrollees
fun fact: jaden's moms destiny is an outstanding chef & is willing to do weekend laundary if her son is super nice & polite in asking her for a solid
fun fact: pittsburg is 31.7 miles from berkeley on gamedays
fun fact: unlike the gators who got wisconsin qb transfer graham mertz who passed last season for 2,136 yards & 19 touchdowns last season, the bears best qb option in this exact moment is heisman candidate jaydn ott running out of the wildcat
fun fact: jaden's dad harlen wuz a safety with pat tillman at asu back in the day, he intends to watch every second in person of his son's collegiate quarterbacking career
florida has been in contact with the rashada family during the last 24 hours & now believe it's around "50/50%" (down from 95/5% earlier this week) he will enroll in classes...the dispute involves the machinations of the nil payments from the gators nil collective, failure to deliver upfront promised payments...the gators pr team is now dropping the smokescreen that his absence in gainesville was academics/admissions/transcripts related for the 3.8 gpa true student athlete
In many ways each schools NIL program is like an insurance company. They don't sell a tangible product, they sell a promise to pay. If either proves through their actions they don't pay when they are supposed to, what value do they have? What's the point of attending that school if money is a primary motivating factor?

tequila, that's a fair analogy, nil collectives are kinda like insurance companies in that those who do biz with them do so with the expectations of future payments...the major difference is that insurance companies issue legal documents (written policies/contracts) to policyholders, there is no standardization yet in nil agreements
but make no mistake about it, the gators nil collective is run by some really bad human beings & the bears nil collective is run by an ethical barrister in sebastapool
— JUSTIN WILLIAMS-THOMAS AKA "J-WILL" (@akajwill) January 9, 2023
welcome to berkeley 4.0 gpa elite running back justin williams-thomas aka j-will who is decommiting from stanford in favor of cal as a tennessee transfer with 4 years of eligiblity
the remarkable 6' 215 lbs true student athlete from dallas georgia grew up with significant family challenges including the early loss of his brother jared, his moms ran track back in jamaica back in the day
we'll let justin tell his personal story if he feels like it but make no mistake about it this young man is a terrific reason to get season tix(s) for the 2023 season
plus he got good hair & likes mutts, he gets points for that
the university of california, berkeley=#1 ranked public university in the world (including both dallas georgia & dallas texas)
stanford decrepit dorm housing vs berkeley housing wuz a factor in this successful california golden bears recruiting victory, thx u 4th gen bear for all ur efforts with both the football & basketball programs
https://instagr.am/p/CSctfmWhtGh disclosure note: the above video may be a slight exaggeration of the 2 homes bought in berkeley by 4th gen bear
The "waiting in line" is akin to what people purchasing sneakers on the NIKE app experience while waiting to see if they are lucky enough to get access to the 'sneaker drop'.

Great to get rid of Under Armour finally
I wonder if there is a creative way to utilize these agreements to fund the Collective. Like X percent of money goes to the collective. Or part of the deal is that Nike has to use X number of players in Y number of spots, all funded through the Collective.

Today is a day where the entire community joins together to support @CalAthletics! Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue to support a world class experience for our student-athletes! #CalBigGive
tequila, that's a nice thought but that's not how the con artist operates, his primary function in berkeley is to fundraise dollars from old blues to pay his average annual salary of $1,300,000+ thru 2029 and his dizzying array of worthless bureaucrats like jeniffer simon-oneil, tom lowry & markesiha everett
he views donations to the nil collective as diametrically opposition to his paying off his entire empire of dirt for sports that nobody really care about which don't include football & men's basketball
let's be real here, donating/giving money (other than purchasing football & basketball tixs) to the cal athletic department is the equivalent of burning money
my apologies for not including a more current "give me money" outreach from the con artist but he is the only athletic director in the united states of america that don't got an active twitter account, why is that?
https://instagr.am/p/CiE5nhgOGH4 james hahn has withdrawn from this week's pga tournament in diamond head due to a sore neck (dude is 41 years old), therefore the 2 california golden bears representing in the islands this week will be michael kim & byeong hun an
max is home here in the valley of the sun changing diapers & colin is still asking jj why they didn't lay up off the tee on the 14th hole sunday

Nice to see that our Clown in Chief has not posted anything in almost 2 years

For some reason, the super-ugly anti-semitic part of this isn't copying over. I guess it's Marjorie Taylor Green's space lasers must've zapped them. I'm curious who sent the text with the offending verbiage. If it's the player, no wonder it's less than 50/50 he ends up a gator. I'm guessing Bama or tAm wouldn't mind.
Nice to see that our Clown in Chief has not posted anything in almost 2 years
but guess what doubtful, our clown in chief has collected almost $2,500,000 in salary which is paid in part by donations from old blues to the cal athletic department bureaucracy
trust me juarez, if u & me make a golf trip to the south in the future it's gonna be a different kinda deal
All my life I've wondered why my native Mississippi was near the top of states receiving the most federal aid, yet progress against poverty seemed non-existent. I think at last the answer is coming clear: it's greed. It's evil.

kama & shocky r mutts#
Not laying up on 14 was the right move. At that point, Collin was only three shots ahead, and Rahm was already on in 2 on the par 5 15th. Rahm would go on to make Eagle of course. Collin needed to find another birdie or two coming in, and there's no real trouble by the green on 14th.
The bunker he hit into wasn't really an issue. As Collin said after the round in his interview, 10 out of 10 times he gets it to within 15 feet for a look at birdie. One group earlier, Tom Kim had gotten up and down for birdie out of the same bunker. Collin just happened to hit a really bad shot, which unfortunately started a cascade of more bad shots in subsequent holes.
But the strategy was correct. Collin couldn't rest his laurels at -27, and going for it on 14 was definitely the right call. This was not a Jean VDV / Open Championship situation.
Purdue did a great job in landing QB Samuel Jackson 5‘11“ 180 from Naperville Central HS. Previously committed to Minnesota as an athlete Purdue wants him at QB. Accurate, super quick, smart with big-time arm strength.4* talent.@jackson5ive_ 3.1 GPA. Major talent. 4.4 speed. pic.twitter.com/MqpWHJ2jl7
https://instagr.am/p/BABv2nUKQ0G alky, love talking golf course strategy which started back in the day caddying at san francisco golf club
so my take is that it's colin's boldness/aggressiveness that started his 3 hole bogey spiral that cost him the tournament, a more "conservative" strategy on the short par 4 14th hole might've saved him from the bogey train & potentially flipped the tournament outcome
allow me to explain, morikawa entered the short par 4 14th hole (foto above fraught with danger with a severely sloping false front, awkward bunkers jealously guarding the green & unplayable native grasses surrounding the hole) with a 3 stroke lead (rahm was on the par 5 15th hole at that time) & had zero bogeys for the week...life in maui wuz blissful
the plantation course's 14th plays steeply uphill (not quite as severe as the 1st hole at tilden park) & with the tradewinds directly blowing in his face was not drivable today for morikawa with his length off the tee...so despite birdieing it the first 3 days with driver off the tee really thought that his caddie jj jakovac (former collegiate champion at chico state) should've encouraged colin to hit a layup off the tee & then flip a short wedge, there's zero chance he's gonna bogey the hole with this strategy & he will still birdie the hole probably almost half the time
instead morikawa hits driver into a predicament, skulls the long bunker shot over the green, makes bogey & then the wheels come off with the 3 hole bogey spiral
as a case in point, max homa hit driver on the 14th in the 1st round into the **** left of the green & wuz lucky to make bogey...max then laid up off the tee the last 3 days in consultation with his caddie joe greiner
colin morikawa is regarded as an elite mind with respects to course management, will be interesting to see if he & jj consider dialing it back next time he's in contention
both colin & max are gonna skip the pga tournament in honolulu next week & also the palm springs tournament the following week after that so they will both tee it up again at torrey pines on january 25th, the shockster just decided he's gonna be in la jolla there to offer his counsel & support...also gonna be available if brian driscoll needs me around to help him move his attitude from la jolla to national city or be his wingman in robbing a gas station or something
any opinions from you & other golfing bears?
cal06, respect ur opinions, kinda hard for a caddy to tell a guy 27 under par to lay up on a drivable par 4 particularly as part of colin's historical dna/legacy is the 16th hole at harding park
but there's no way when he stood on the 14th tee that he knew that rahmbo wuz gonna have a short eagle putt on the 15th green
but make no mistake about it, me & my partner in crime brian driscoll r gonna be robbing multiple gas stations in del mar en route to torrey pines in a couple of week when we storm the par 5 18th green when colin or max win the tournament before unsuccessfully tryna elude the candy azz soft la jolla police by jumping into the lake fronting the par 5 & swimming to safety
can u make it too?...if so, please put in on ur calendar & bring extra bail money for me & brian
my last stormin' event at haas wuz a solo deal, there's safety in numbers, rite?
important note to all california golden bears fans:
plz watch this video 500 times to ensure that you fully comprehend that this elite escapability/footspeed is 100% what cal's monster offensive line needs in order to be successful in the 2023 season & compete for a big time bowl game
