Cal has used 2 TEs a lot this season. Not just vs SDSU. They did more motion with another big TE (Byrne) and utilized his blocking to create some run lanes. He did not play a ton of snaps but that formation was very effective when used. But Cal plays Endries and Dyches together a lot currently. What Dyches gives you is the versatility to play 2 TEs but also flex out as a big WR if the defense wants to stack the box. His receiving ability can be very effective as 2 TE formations typically mean LB or S coverge on the TE. Dyches can defeat that.Shocky1 said:

congrats to troy taylor on his high gpa cards inaugural acc victory, cal would be in the mother******* mountain west conference if not for stanford/notre dame lobbying for berkeley (while clueless christ & dumb as **** knowlton wuz blindly following pac 12 commish george k into the abyss)
but with that being said stanford qb1 ashton daniels throws a lotta balls up for grabs (the takers gotta luv that ****) & the stanford offensive line is beyond bad with holding & offside penalties...cards wideout eric ayomanor is a legit nfl talent & its mind boggling the orange did not double bracket him all nite
syracuse also gotta beyond breaking bad offensive line (17 rushes for 26 yards) which means that qb1 kyle mccord (whose 2 untimely interceptions factored in the outcome) is running a one dimensional offensive that is susceptible to heavy blitz packages
neither team got lockdown defenses
the bears are gonna play both stanford & syracuse at memorial stadium, both of them are winnable games

Royal Melbourne was Top 5 for me. Just simply amazing.
hollywood, nsw is a world top 100 course so that's too bad it's closed for renovations (greg norman has done a lotta ruinivation work which is outta character with the original mackenzie design) & the only other course worth playing is royal sydney which is good not great (tho the short par 4 1st hole is fun) on a flattish property near the city centre
the other world top 100 course near sydney is ellertson which is on the private residence of the wealthiest family in australia, it gets between 300 to 400 rounds a year (and more than half of those rounds are by the greens keeping staff, there's no head pro or clubhouse) & is strictly by invitation only by the packer family
so back in the day shocky gets the invitation to visit ellerston the next day while he's in bali, he gets the midnight red eye flight from bali to sydney which is full of drunk azz weekend partygoers (kinda like the last flite outta las vegas)
shocky arrives in sydney at 6:00 am & the australian equivalent of tsa has the following conversation with me:
tsa agent: why are you visiting australia for only 24 hours?
shocky (kinda tired): to play golf
tsa agent: nobody visits australia for one round of golf, which course are you playing?
shocky: ellerston
tsa agent (taking me to the back room): never heard of it, come with me
tsa supervisor (thinking shocky is an arms or narcotics trafficker): so tell me why your visiting australia to play one course and what course is this?
shocky: ellerston
tsa supervisor: i play a lot of golf and am not familiar with ellerston, are you sure this is the correct name of the course?
shocky: can i show you my letter of invitation?...it's in my shoulder bag?
both tsa supervisors (watching me carefully): ok but keep your hands where we can see them
shocky (moving slowly/deliberately thru his bag pulling out a piece of paper): ok, here's the email with the invitation from mr kerry packer
wowza, that wuz the right answer!!...after reading the email, they apologized to me profusely, got me a bottle of cold water & took me on a golf cart with my golf & shoulder bags to avis & waved goodbye wishing me happy travels!!
ellerston reminds me a lot of the hills in marin near stinson beach high school, it's got only one set of tees at 7,300 yards tho the greens supt & i played from a little over 7,000 yards with the rock hard firm fairways which wuz a blast
but ellerston isn't really accessible for anyone (including probably me) so my suggestion is take a 24 hour holiday from ur film & take a flight to tasmania to the barnbougle resort & play their 2 world top 100 courses in tom doak's barnbougle dunes and coore & crenshaw's lost farms...both are world class elite designs in the most natural setting imaginable
