You know it. I'm having a blast again working on my golf game. Pretty much probably on the same type of ranges you hit: in my garage, off of cardboard, with a ball made of steel wool wrapped in electrical tape and across the street in a field. All short pitch shots...my weakness. I use actual golf balls in the field.Shocky1 said:

This is true but our line has to actually prevent penetration and not just wall off defenders to the inside or outside. There appear to be too many DLs that get a push.Shocky1 said:
^^ the bears current scheme often moves the tight end in motion, they can effectively stop & function as a fullback on PITCHOUTS
Why isn't the staff making the choice to be better?Shocky1 said:

I don't doubt they are trying to get better. They actually have to do it though and they are under an easy measuring stick: wins. If you saw my golf game you wouldn't think I was trying to get better either.89Bear said:Why isn't the staff making the choice to be better?Shocky1 said:

That's pretty cool actually. I started at Lincoln in SF. Had no range but it did have an open area you could hit 9 irons on. I'm actually quite content pitching a mock ball into paint tarps and using cardboard so I stay shallow. It's surprisingly rewarding. I don't quite have the desire to play right now because there will be no joy shooting 90+. I don't care if it's at the #1 course in the country. Not even sad but true. Keep up the positive attitude even for the kids who don't want to go to Cal.Shocky1 said:82, do the ranges u frequent spell out ur name in advance of ur arrival??82gradDLSdad said:You know it. burl & mike, this needs to become the gold standard for **** u up BLOCKING in ur rooms, rite?...r u starting ur game film reviews with pretty azz catches or props for game winning BLOCKS?...r u developing a room of apex predators on the football field?...have u made it clear to ur highly competitive room that future playing time will be contingent on VIOLENT downfield blocking?...why does ur head coach never mention BLOCKING in his blah blah blah press conferences?
BLOCKING wins football games & gets u PAID in the nfl#

dear coach bloesch,
how r u?
i am fine
this really isn't that complicated, would you plz dial up some PITCHOUTS against oregon state next saturday??
PITCHOUTS r the quickest way to get the ball to ur rbs on the edges in wide open space...and let's be real here, outside edge defenders cannot run with jaydn & THE JET!!!! on PITCHOUTS just like inside linebackers cannot run with jack endries & corey dyches on interior streak patterns, got it?
thank you in advance for ur support of the california golden bear touchdown celebrations in the pumpkin patch end zones at memorial stadium
best regards,
shocky

yeah that would be former bears running back coach ron gould who developed marshawn lynch, javid best, justin forsett, jj arrington, etc...while at cal gould sent 10 (TEN) runnings backs to the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, he got his guys PAID!!
https://www.davisenterprise.com/sports/stanford-hires-gould-as-running-backs-coach/article_27eea617-21c6-547c-baa1-c6f690377ffd.html
ron once tole me (in addition that nobody in his rb room would evah see the field until they could bench press 350 lbs to assure pass pro strength) that the PITCHOUT is the most exciting play in football not only for the tailback who gets to dial up their creativity but also for the offensive lineman that get to pull like their hair is on fire & also for the wideout who gets to deliver a violent crackback BLOCK on the edge defender...almost half of javid's billion rushing yards wuz on PITCHOUTS
unfortunately wilcox, bloesch, gilbert, thompson, toler & saffell got NO track record of putting running backs into the NFL, in fact mike said earlier this season he don't care about stats (i.e. promoting his players)...so we got jaydn ott averaging 2.9 yards per rush despite the fact that espn projected him as the #1 running back to be selected in the 2025 nfl draft...that is COACHING MALPRACTICE
these bears coaches are 100% RESPONSIBLE for the dangerous playcalling which runs our student athletes intentionally into telephone poles which is not only causing serious injuries (shocky thought javian wuz dead last year after my 165 lb bro wuz put in harm's way against washington in one of the dumbest play calls in the history of cal football) but also costing them millions of dollars
when if evah will the cal tailbacks once again be OFF TO THE ******* RACES??
