the oregon state game on august 30th will reveal whether or not any of these guys can do anything with PITCHOUTS in open space on the edges or not...and also if griffin/harsin/wilcox running off the jet will impact the 2025 season in a similar manner to the devastating consequences of longwell/cherrington/wilcox running off mateen bhaghani in 2024

coach griffin has indicated that right now it's a 3 man race for a 2 back playing rotation
his former utsa transfer rb brandon high jr is a "high academic guy" (wuz majoring in kinesiology which is no joke) & that he wuz a "10.4 100 meters guy coming out of high school so he's a big guy who can run"
funny quote: "pass protection is job protection" is a key point of emphasis in player evaluations (the last rb coach's backs wuz candy azz soft in pass pro) & griffin also stated when asked to identify whose the best in the room at protecting the qb said "probably me"
