If we had Sam Jackson running around to start the game maybe we wouldn't be in this position.

This is my biggest issue with Wilcox teams. We lose a hard-fought close game and then come out completely broken the next game instead of having the fire to not let it happen again. You'd think if Wilcox teams had anything it would be level-headed consistency and mental fortitude. But even if we win this game the way the 1st half went is a major red flag that we've seen time and time again. Right now we look (at best) the equal of an FCS team. There's no way to pump sunshine into this performance or how our team looks right now and to this point through Wilcox's tenure

When Jackson is playing I don't know why we don't do those Oregon-style read option plays. Isn't that how you get the "numerical advantage" with a running quarterback?

College football is an emotional game that requires a strong leader. Wilcox is just not HC material. But hey, let's give him 11 years and see if his core personality changes.

Agreed. We can't worry about injury. It is football. Play to win. If the starter goes down at RB, you play the next guy. QB should be the same.
