I'm pessimistic on the ratings for this game. A lot of big name games being played at the same time.
This is a stupid superstition, but I feel that Cal's defense typically plays the opposite of how they play for the first half of the first quarter. So a 3 and out doesn't bode well.Joegeo said:

With Cal beat up, on the road, and facing a team that runs a fast paced offense, why are we running no-huddle plays? Did we learn nothing from last week?

Mendoza is great at throwing 15-25 yards over the middle of the field, it is far and away his strength. We are much better if we don't wait until third and long to do it. First down should be okay action then a throw 29 yards down field to a TE or WR on a post.
