Maybe try Rogers from here on out. Fernando makes some questionable decisions quite often.
Well, that's an opinion.

What? Fernando was the only reason we were still in this game. Not his fault the coaches took the ball away from him at winning time.
Now?!? Welcome to 2017.Strykur said:After the last touchdown it is now really damn obvious where a lot of our issues arisegwashburn14 said:
Last week Wilcox didn't personally take responsibility for the loss. He kept saying "we". This one is on him, penalties, bad coaching decisions, the decision to go with Rogers when everybody knows he's not going to pass and then setting up Coe to fail because he refuses to go for a first down and gives a bad kicker a 40-yard try. Ridiculous.
Why?!? Mendoza is the only reason we kept this one close. It's not his fault his OL can't block a single defender.GoOskie said:

We thought we just needed a QB for so long with Wilcox. But it's clear that isnt the problem. He wants a vanilla, conservative, basic offense that plays ultra safe. It had nothing to do with the QB. This isn't ever going to change no matter who he hires.LunchTime said:GoOskie said:

it can still be a magically bad season, Wilcox always finds creative ways to lose82gradDLSdad said:
Can we take magical season off the table now?

The boys in blue keep teasing us. This one hurts just as much as last week. I personally don't blame the coaches. They don't play the game, the players do. Offensive line was horrible today. The kicker, well…

Well, that looked familiar. Our defense kept us in the game. This was very winnable. It's honestly hard to overstate how bad our OL and FG kicking are. We will continue to look like this as long as Wilcox is still HC.
This is the dumbest thing ever posted on this board, and I post here.GoOskie said:A change up. Just to see what he can do.concernedparent said:What about Rogers' play inspires any confidence?GoOskie said:

Did the players decide to go for 2 points for no reason? Did the players decide to settle for a long field goal on first down- knowing we have a terrible kicker?HateRed said:

Then after doing that repeatedly we run occasionally into light boxes for gashing gains with our speedy backs. Then back to the quick passes. The strategy is so obvious.calumnus said:sycasey said:GoOskie said:

We win this game running away if we go with Fernando throwing quick passes deeper than 10 yards play after play.

Literally everything he does is about doing just well enough to not be fired for cause.annarborbear said:

You seem to post the same word for word nonsense every week. Mendoza was going to the Ivy League before we offered, we won't lose him unless a major program throws him a massive dealDaveT said:
Over the past four games, Cal has allowed more sacks than any other team in the country. They are averaging over 5 sacks allowed per game. If I'm Mendoza, I'm gone after this season, if for no other reason than to avoid dying.
