The Lions have more touchdowns (28) than incompletions (24) during the streak, and Jared Goff has recorded the best passer rating (140.1) for any six-game stretch in NFL history.

Way to jinx it, Jared is 2 of 5 for 16yds with 1 Int, worst start this season.

This is the worst I've seen Jared play this year

8 of 20, 128 yds, 1TD and 5 Ints (not a typo!)

Still in the game despite of this, lots of time left down by 10.

Reminds me of the Utes game, too much attention and this happens. Fight your way out of it Jared, let's go.

He's already pulling a full Rich Campbell vs UCLA circa 1978.

Hoping for '93 Dave Barr vs Oregon here.

Detroit has a great all-round team, when one phase of the game is off, the others keep them in the game.

OC Ben Johnson is going to be a head coach next season, he's done an awesome job of calling plays to keep his offense moving despite the rocky start.

I was actually thinking that it's the fact that he didn't throw that 6th INT that won the game for Detroit.

These games are weird because the Lions are expected to be good, so it's boring.

But as they show any hints of badness, it's really bad.

(As I'm typing this, Goff just threw a 64-yd TD.)

In other NFL news, Is there anyone left outside the state of Missouri that doesn't want Josh Allen to stuff the Chiefs?

I hate that when an NFL team utterly destroys a bad team, they are considered extremely great. Don't get me wrong, I think the Lions are great. But them destroying the Jaguars tells me more about Doug Pederson.

"For the first time in history, the Lions are Super Bowl favorites (+325 at BetMGM).

As a reminder: The Lions (debuted in 1930), Jaguars (1995) and Texans (2002) are the only active NFL franchises that have never made a Super Bowl appearance.

Six years ago today, the Rams beat the Chiefs, 54-51, on "Monday Night Football" in perhaps the greatest regular-season game in NFL history, Jeff writes.

Setting the stage: The hype for this matchup was through the roof. Both teams were 9-1, Patrick Mahomes was the MVP frontrunner (and eventual winner) in his first year as the starter and it was the first game ever between teams averaging at least 33 points this late in the season. Safe to say it delivered.

By the numbers: Mahomes and Jared Goff combined for 925 total yards and 11 TDs, while four different players amassed 100+ scrimmage yards (Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Brandin Cooks, Kareem Hunt)."

Some people might count the Ravens as a continuation of the Browns . . . but the NFL officially does not.
