He tried to make something happen when there was no good opening. Had he just thrown the ball away, worst case we punt and flip the field. Now they have great position and are proceeding to drive.

I mean, the reality is that any player on offense has to overcome terrible playcalling, poor preperation, and little to no support from coaches- so anyone doing anything even a little good should be commended.

Their quick pass game is working against us. Screens, crosses, slants. They aren't letting McCord hold onto the ball and make bad decisions.
tbf to Mendoza, the O-Line and play calling have been an abomination during his tenure, but he has had more skill position talent than anyone in a decade.
