Need to get receivers more open on deep pass plays; that's a few now that had to be thrown into good coverage. That might be partly the plays being called, and partly the receivers just need to better separate themselves from the defenders.

Multiple drops. Multiple sideline throws completed but the receiver couldn't get their foot down.

Something to work on for sure but jks is putting them in a position to make a play every single time...just need to get them to calm down and focus. First game on the road in a hostile environment can cause that....or it could be a skill issue.

might just be a talent issue at the receiver level. we lost all of our best WRs, and even some who did nothing for us (merriwether) and just have Tron left.

Hopefully the boys settle in

We have the main piece which is most important, getting support is much easier with that in place

Wilcox doing what Wilcox does best when he gets a lead - making sure the lead doesn't get any bigger to give the opponent every opportunity to come back if they get their act together.

I can't tell how much of this game is Oregon State stinking and how much is Cal playing well. The one obvious thing is that I haven't seen this many well placed balls from the QB position since Rodgers. His hype is deserved.

Terrible coaches don't magically become good. Wilcox sucks, can other factors make the team better? That's the only question we have about this year.

Fired Toler on entry to bring in his own guy. He's calling a good game, but you need players at this level too.

lmao u cant make this up. JKS , after running 25 yards and getting spun around and hit, telling wilcox to call a timeout. Wilcox, chilling on the sideline, does not call a timeout

Glad that we have a good player with good time management on the field. but these are the little things that prevents wilcox from being average, let alone great
