I get recruiting is hard. I get game planning and scheming is hard. I get getting 18-23 year olds to focus and execute is hard. But I will never understand how paid coaches mess up clock management so badly.

JKS was signalling a TO. With more experience he'll call that and take control of this offense.

If I didn't see the first half with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. A 49 yard FG to cap the half was chef's kiss.

Somebody pinch me.

Need to come out second half pressing on the gas pedal, 17 points ain't going to win this thing.

Our's players have to be EXTRA elite because they have to overcome the coaching staff.

Someone needs to remind Wilcox that you don't get the carry over TOs to the second half.

Great individual efforts by JKS but otherwise this is still a classic Wilcox team. And Oregon State is a team you gotta crush to have any hope in the ACC. We even managed that last year.

good first half, this is not a bottom half ACC team.

The game is great but this thread sucks.

Wilcox playing for a field goal instead of a TD. That's why you don't call that timeout...you figure you are in field goal range, just bleed the clock out so you don't have to kick it off.

Going for a TD is calling a timeout and trying a few shots down field to get in the endzone or at the very least an easier kick...

14-0 was good. The game was there for the taking....just had to take hope away from Oregon State. They were ready to give up with another score...but we are giving them reasons to believe they are still in this which is dangerous.

Same tendencies do not bode well for better competition...

Need some pass rush this half. Come on D, where's the pressure at?
