The only game that can compare in the soul-crushing department is the Holiday Bowl loss to Texas Tech. Also in San Diego, of course.

Perhaps the most disappointing thing about this embarrassment is that we had a long time to make necessary adjustments to get back in the game, but instead we kept failing over and over again running up the middle and throwing to the same 3 receivers.

My bad, totally missed that in my rage at this game.
The silver lining is our late west coast start time- nobody saw this embarrassment of a game. I knew it was all too good to be true. Maybe Ron will make a move and we can at least start to rebuild.

Our wide receivers are as mediocre/bad as it gets.
Hopefully some talent will want to play with JKS.
Shoot, I'm 70 years old and I can catch better than some of these guys. JKS can't do it alone. Oh well, I was worried about a Wilcox contract extension if we had a big year. This should settle things early. Nice guy, bad head coach who has just held the program back for years. Just not a winner.
Rivera should start looking around now at possibilities.
And please don't remind me that there is a lot of season left.
