Looks like the Dodgers have their starting 4 for the playoffs. - Kershaw, Wood, Darvish, and Hill. And it looks like the offense is back on track. Bellinger hits his 38 today. Puig makes game saving catch.

A-Gon not being able to go is a blessing in disguise because of his back ailments. He is a consummate pro though and has given the Dodgers everything he has. Best record in baseball is nice. So too yet another NL West title. And beating the Giants by 40 (FORTY!) games is of course a good thing. But I'm under no false illusion that the Dodgers will make it far in the post-season. They may not even make it past the Snakes. My personal theory is that the Baseball Gods, both the Old and the New, are still punishing the Dodgers for how they treated Ross Porter. And I can both understand and respect that.
Dodger bats come alive and save Kershaw. Wins his first post season game at home. Brandon Morrow pitches clean 8th. Yasiel hits tongue wagging triple. He's having fun.

In other words he gave up 4 runs in 6 1/3 innings. Pretty bad for a #1 starter. The Dodgers were okay because they scored a lot.
