All is right with the universe.bonsallbear said:
Looks like the Dodgers have their starting 4 for the playoffs. - Kershaw, Wood, Darvish, and Hill. And it looks like the offense is back on track. Bellinger hits his 38 today. Puig makes game saving catch.
AND UCLA LOSSES!!!!
Don't think so, his head won't fit.bonsallbear said:

Don't worry Doc will, and he will probably implode.bonsallbear said:
Congratulations to Aaron Judge for hitting his 50th home run and setting the rookie record!! Well done.
And the Dodgers seem to have rediscovered how to play baseball. Home runs and great pitching from Yu Darvish - 2 hits in7 innings.
Is Puig out of the doggie house? Good to see Logan F tagging the ball
Note to Roberts. DO NOT EVER PITCH BAEZ IN A PLAYOFF GAME!!!!!!
It's ok to pitch him with an 8 run lead. Not likely to happen in the playoffs. He's a one pitch pitcher. I'd rather have the new kidKoreAmBear said:Don't worry Doc will, and he will probably implode.bonsallbear said:

A-Gon not being able to go is a blessing in disguise because of his back ailments. He is a consummate pro though and has given the Dodgers everything he has. I'm hoping to sweep back the Rox for some swag going into the playoffs (although I'd prefer to play the Rox than the D-Backs or Brewers).rathokan said:
if Baez makes the postseason roster it better be to throw one pitch to hit somebody... assuming he could even do that.
AGon out and Bellinger at 1st is a good thing

Congratulations to the Dodgers on yet another Division Championship and best record in baseball!
He was not sharp. Gave up 4 home runs. Do that against Ray or Grienke - you lose.oski003 said:
How did they save Kershaw?
oski003 said:
He allowed 5 hits, 4 of them solo home runs, 3 to the short porch. He was up 7-2 in the 7th when he surrendered the last two home runs.
While he wasn't sharp enough to go deep against a playoff batting lineup with a mvp caliber rh goldschmidt and rh jd Martinez behind him, he did not get 'saved' by dodger bats.
And if the bats hadn't kept it up he would have lost.oski003 said:
Sycasey, are you saying he got saved by dodger bats? That characterization of last night's game is stupid.
The Dodgers were never up by less than 3 runs.
They were up by that much because of the bats. So yes, the subpar pitching was saved by the overperfomance of the offense.oski003 said:
