Roberts pulled Urias too soon and when he went to Jansen in the 9th I said out loud:

"That guy should not even be in there!"

I was pretty sure he was going to serve up a HR to send the game into extra innings.

What happened was worse.

BTW, I am pretty sure that out call on Muncy at 2nd was bogus. The fielder dragged him down and off the bag.

I'm also baffled that Baez stayed in the game after giving up a three-run jack to give the Rays the lead, only to give up another long ball to let them tie it again in the next inning.

I'm not COMPLAINING, of course (I love Baez!), but it's a strange decision. Normally when a reliever does that he's out of there at the first opportunity.

This is make or break for Kershaw.

I said earlier that the Dodgers would have won a WS by now if not for Kershaw and Jansen. Jansen did not come through. Four blown WS saves and it is actually worse than that because he has also been instrumental in losing games that were not save situations or in giving up leads in games the Dodgers eventually managed to win.

Time for Kershaw to do it or be relegated to the dust bin of also-rans.

Worked out ok. He helped himself with that throw to the plate to get the runner. Staked to a 3-0 lead he should've cruised.

This brings to mind what it looked like when the protestors knocked the fence down around People's Park in '69. As Arlo Guthrie would say, "Those Dodgers are a Lotta freaks!"
