We need to blitz the weak side, we are only blitzing right into the RB.
Don't let them in the endzone
Hard to get a pass rush on 3 step type of passes. Only way to do that is to jam up the receivers and throw off their timing so QB has to hold it longer.

I think that's gonna be a season-long story. We just don't have that Cameron Jordan or Zack Follett guy ... yet.

Last year it would have been 35-3 UA at halftime
TDs for field goals is a trade I'll make every time. We could use another score before the half.

I think Cal needs to keep playing aggressive until they get to midfield..then try to pound out the clock and work it. Also...a kick return for a TD would be nice.
That is a win; to see them develop momentum and stuff it the red zone. I see Art making good adjustments at the half and getting to their qb a couple of times in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Interesting fact, Cal after 2 games is #7 in the conference for total sacks (better than some teams that have played 3 games). They are #4 in sacks per game.
The problem is that the way most spread offenses run its really hard to actually sack the QB, what you can do is try to push him off his line and disrupt his rhythm. Looking at Anu Solomon's performance in the first half, I'd say we managed that rather well despite not sacking him.

Cal hasn't been in the red zone yet. All 3 of their TDs were more than 20 yards.
Goff may throw for 500 yards tonight
