Max's team already in playoffs. waiting for pairing announcement this morning.

Cal recruit QB Cameron Rising's Newbury Park team got in the playoffs this morning as at-large team.


One thing I like about Sonny is that he is making sure Cal will Not repeat the Maynard debacle where the coach feels he must start a QB that has deficiencies that are obvious to everyone in the stadium.
Sonny will have a whole stable of quality backups. If the starter can't perform, Sonny will plug in a backup that can.

+1 ... kudos to BBLA
and hoping the only surprises on LOI day are happy (remembering Conte's switch back to Cal)
Gilliam is a bit skinny and a freshman, but we've been there and done that with great results.
There will be QB competition
and maybe a big, nasty OL, with their experience not offset by f'ing VS.

And the year before, 2013, furd got another 4* QB ... where'd they go?
