He's not calling screens. That last one and a bunch of others were the 4th option when no one's open.
His play sheet is nothing but iso 's, screens and draws. This prolly worked in FCS but clearly is problem in P5 football.tim94501 said:

You guys who are hyper critical of the offense don't seem to realize the players we have...and don't have. Very young and inexperienced line, missing top RB and receivers and a very young QB. And oh yeah, we are playing the Number 6 team on the road.

People are all bagging on the defense, but the defense is doing great. Two INT opportunities on the TD drive. A red zone start with 0 points.
The offense has done so little. The D can't dominate a top team all night when the O is delivering 3 and outs. We just don't have the players in our three deep to absorb injuries the way we could with better recruiting.

Heard a lot of new names tonight who seem to be doing great on d, and o-line is good, too. Next man up! No reason to get conservative because our top performers to date are out.

Everybody spent the first 3 games ragging on Dykes and his Air Raid, our defense now keeps us in games but when our offense is limp dick and everybody knows it, we're dead to rights.

Hudson factored significantly into Baldwin's plans, as did Robertson, Noa and Watson -one of the best receiving backs in the country.

He was lauded at a lesser level. As we know many of these promotions don't work out. His philosophy is not early as dynamic as we were led to believe. While we've lost a lot of offensive talent it seems as if his scheme has regressed too.MoragaBear said:

Pac-12 refs, man. There needs to be an "I don't know, send it to replay option" because subjecting awful on-field calls to the "conclusive visual evidence" standard sucks.
