kicking (60-yd FGs) is winning

Andersen should just kick the ball into Peterson's face

Really, Petersen? Leading 24-0 and using your timeouts to ice a kicker before a 60-yard FG attempt?
Not sure how much better our O would have been under Dykes, with a new QB, RB, 3 backup WRs and a porous line.TouchedTheAxeIn82 said:When you're all O and no D, you will have a chance (remember all those ridiculously high scores in the #Pac12AfterDark games). Dykes haters should eat crow tonight, seeing us be totally absent on offense is atrocious.
How do you throw a Hail Mary when they are getting penetration immediately while rushing 2?alarsuel said:
*** don't you throw a Hail Mary!?!?!? Stupid H

Everybody spent the first 3 games ragging on Dykes and his Air Raid, our defense now keeps us in games but when our offense is limp dick and everybody knows it, we're dead to rights.
I was told he's just a hippie trying to sell DVDs, and air raid is gimmick,NYCGOBEARS said:
Anyone miss The Tony Franklin System yet?
He's obviously "green", but he seems to be lacking in some of the basics. He doesn't see the field well and he doesn't feel the pressure of the pass rush. Plus he has to learn to throw the ball away when he's being unrelentlessly pressured.oursdor said:

I'm watching Utah/Furd. Utah has a mobile QB. You need one to keep the defense honest. Decisive runner who feeezes the backers
Greatwood isn't the problemUthaithani said:juarezbear said:

Wouldn't hurt to have an OLine. Greatwood ain't so great, I guess.

The spread offense haters are grasping at straws right now this offense sucks. It's sucked all year. It's not just personel. Wilcox needs to make some major changes on offense in the off season. What recruit will want to play on the worse offense in CFB?
I wouldn't, dick move.Kovy said:BearSD said:

We don't have the personnel for this scheme.
What scheme do you think we have the offensive personnel for?
I'm afraid it's not going to get much better next week. You saw how WSU overwhelmed Oregon today. Next week will be ugly again, I'm afraid.tim94501 said:

You should see what Arizona's running QB did to CU today - and many here had the Mildcats pencilled in as one of our Ws.juarezbear said:

Worst half of Cal football I have ever seen. I know we don't have world beaters but we need to at least run some kind of misdirection. No play action or screen game. No reverses. Just letting Washington dominate us with a 4 man rush. Giving this offense zero chance at success. Say what you will about Dykes, at least he kept other teams guessing to offset the talent gap.
Uh, we're getting shut out with the starters playing. Don't see how it could get much worse.Strykur said:southseasbear said:
Hope they play reserves early in the 2nd half. We don't need more injuries. I still think a bowl game is attainable in that we are capable of beating OSU, Arizona, Colorado, and Southern Branch.
Bull****, we will get shut out if we just throw the backups in there, you don't think Washington would love to skunk us tonight?
He's had more than a second on a few plays, and the result has not been good. He's just slow to react.LunchTime said:No QB sees the field well with a second to get the ball and throw.Golden One said:He's obviously "green", but he seems to be lacking in some of the basics. Not even the #1 draft pick. Not Rodgers if he had ended up with the 49ers.
No QB "sees the field" in a second. Literally.
