Hey, Cal beat the officials also! IMO. But didn't agree with the calls in the 1stt half. And many in the 2nd, but the end result is wonderful and about time. Go Bears!! Cal Strong!! Ventura Strong!! Thousand Oaks Strong!!

I was right there with you. I said that I would watch the start of the second half and if the Toejams got up by 21 I would call it. Then USC showed they are a poorly coached team. Say what you will but Pete the Cheat had his kids prepared and fundamentally sound. This was NOT a fundamentally good USC team.

We also won a game in LA for the first time since 2009 and second time since Holmoe.

This one's for all the Cal fans in Southern CA who have gone to all these games only to see us lose over and over and over again.

Looking back, Garber's run was called back on a hinky call of holding. A certain TD and the score should have been 22-14. Looking back, we should have knocked off WSU, but for a silly pass. Looking back, we did knock off the Huskies, a beautiful, pleasurable win. Looking back, the Bruin game was our nadir after losing to a team the week before we should have beat to a pulp in Tucson. I'm not entirely convinced we couldn't have beaten the Ducks if we played them in November. The difference is the team coming together, not making stupid turnovers, the emergence of our quarterback of the future and solid defense throughout!!! This team SHOULD have been by now 8-2. But I'll say nothing is sweeter than beating the Trojans at their home and ending that streak.

Now, the Furd are on an eight game streak. We need to end it now!

Wilcox always adjusts well in the second half. Baldwin too. Their play calling is very solid, execution sometimes fails. Today the execution held up. And they saved some plays for $C.
