Quite possibly, but I'll wait to see who they get to replace Leach before writing their obit.Go!Bears said:

The message is a wasteland in the SEC is far better place than in the Pac, even if you have to pay to get out.LMK5 said:
Didn't he just accept an extension? Does this mean he has to pay WSU?

I would not be surprised if BB has been contacted.ColoradoBear said:wow, that would have been a good gig for beau baldwin.85Bear said:Quite possibly, but I'll wait to see who they get to replace Leach before writing their obit.Go!Bears said:

The Egg Bowl should be fun this year with Leach at Miss. St. and Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss!

. I wanted to avoid any editorial observations regarding those three places, especially since I have never been to any of them. Nope, no anecdotes from me! Let's be real, Corvallis and Pullman are at the bottom of the PAC-12 in terms of coaching destinations, anywhere in the SEC is a step-up.wifeisafurd said:The message is a wasteland in the SEC is far better place than in the Pac, even if you have to pay to get out.LMK5 said:

I actually read some rumors that Graham Harrell (USC OC) is interested. That would be a fairly smooth transition offensively for WSU. If that came to pass, can't imagine USC fans will be happy (that Harrell is gone but Helton stays).golden sloth said:
Could deruyter be a candidate there?
It's a promotion with little pressure, why not go for it?85Bear said:I actually read some rumors that Graham Harrell (USC OC) is interested. Absolutely. What kills me is that coaches move to a new job before the Bowl game, abandoning the team.71Bear said:And yet, players cannot move from one school to another without sitting a year. The system desperately needs an overhaul to permit unfettered transfers......okaydo said:
It is a chance to take over a team with an offense that is already structured for the kind of offense Harrell runs, as opposed to taking over for a coach that ran a completely different offense and having to go through 2 or 3 recruiting classes to get the players that fit your offensive system.Strykur said:It's a promotion with little pressure, why not go for it?85Bear said:I actually read some rumors that Graham Harrell (USC OC) is interested. I've been to Starville. I think he just barely upgraded, though they are remarkable similar.nwbear84 said:
Pretty sure, without having visited Lubbock or Starkville, he just the left the prettier of the three.

I would miss Leach if he leaves, but I guess I can watch his best stuff on YouTube, no matter where the hell he is. Leach is the only coach I can think of (well, maybe Steve Kerr) who I would want to spend my time listening to them talk. The rest of them (even our own), I'd rather read the transcript, so I can get through it faster.
