it looked like Garbers say a 3-man front and audibeled into the run play. But then the backer blitzed right into the run hole for a TFL.

Takeout OSUs two touchdown plays totaling 111 yards, and they have 50 yards, Cal is over 300 yards in the first half. After the first play from scrimmage Cal has played well and showed depth with four starting offensive linemen out of the game.


Yes, I watched the game too. Not close to perfection. Great under the circumstances. Those aren't the same things.

they had three good plays. Two TDs and a 4th down INT.

Oh for God sake, 20-14 on OSU. I know we have starters out. I know they only had a few good plays. We played well but not close to perfect. I guess I've watched too much DLS over the years. We played a decent to good first half. I expect us to do that.

Really with the slants and powers ..its like watching the old 49ers heh. Hell of a kick too...We got our ray wershing. This game reminds me of the old 80s football games.

Story of the game is that we are playing solid football but the Beavs are decisively leading in the "impact plays" category. Clean that up and we are blowing them away - as it is we have a tight ball game.

Need to bounce more of these runs outside. Up the middle is not working with any real consistency. I guess it's to collapse the defense and open up some routes to the perimeter.
