this is the best game I've seen Brown play, and makes me think he can be really good next year. He's slowed down and figured out you don't have to just put your head down and charge into the paint. Instead, this game he is probing the defense, being shifty and changing directions. Where has this been earlier?

Yes we've missed some open shots but we don't get many. Watch how many guys are moving at one time. One. Maybe two. We expect the guy with the ball to eat his guy and force defensive rotations. Problem is, we don't have a guy who can do that consistently. There is really only one option to make a pass. When that isn't there, the offense breaks down.

One good thing about these two games with Furd is Jerod Haase: When he wears a mask, it hides a lot of his jowly face. Not as hard to look at!

If Kelly had simply laid the ball in (instead of trying to throw down the dunk that missed) and Bradley had laid his in instead of trying to dunk (and missing), we could have 4 more points. Furd scored 2 easy points when Kelly missed the dunk. That is a 6 point swing. We could be down only 4 instead of 10. Little things like that are why we lose. It all adds up.

Still not sure why Betley is getting so many minutes. He is a solid rebounder, but a poor defender and his shooting is no better than anyone else.

I really like Celestine. He does all of the little things. Wish he would be more aggressive offensively.

Really frustrating. 2 turnovers coming out of the under 8 timeout and we let them have 2 easy buckets.

3 consecutive turnovers. crap.

34.8% shooting for us. 60% shooting for them. We've taken 11 more shots, they have taken 9 more free throws.

We need to recruit some guys who can shoot.
