FWIW my conference ranking, based on total tournament wins:
1st PAC-12 (13)
2nd Big-12 (9)
3rd Big Ten (8)
4th SEC (7)
T5th ACC (4)
T5th American (4)
T5th WCC (4)
8th) MVC (3)
T9th six others (1 each)

Those rankings won't change unless Gonzaga (WCC) and/or Houston (American) win and break out of the tie for 5th.
That should be compared to the number of teams in the tournament, though. The Big Ten got 9 teams in. Big 12 and ACC got 7. SEC got 6. Pac-12 only got 5. That's a huge overperformance for the Pac.

Also, isn't the Big East missing here? I think they got four wins (2 each for Villanova and Creighton).

I didn't consider invitations because IMHO those are somewhat arbitrary. Wins are not. But I agree with your conclusion, which could also be phrased as huge overrating of the Big Ten, ACC, and SEC.

I like the Fu man chu:

...but I don't like the lack of humility:

If he was sobbing into his headband after a loss...that wouldn't bother me a whole bunch.

Initially I had the same feeling but after watching a couple of interviews of him and listening to his explanation of some of the antics, I don't mind him having some fun....he said something about being a fan of Pro Wrestling and that has inspired him to show more emotions on the court, much like George Kittle of the 49ers.....just a kid having some fun playing a game.....

I didn't watch the entire Zag/Condom match, but what I did see (from Gonzaga) was the best man-to-man Defense, I've seen at the D1 level for quite some time.

They also seem to have the best talent level this season - and not many would disagree that Mark Few is a very good D1 coach.

I also have a number of friends in Spokane who are NOT college basketball fans, but speak about the Zags as if they were the Niners, Giants, Dubs, Cal & Stanford all wrapped up in one. The complete opposite of fan support for Cal in the Bay Area.

That's because the Spokane team sports options are indeed all wrapped into one. Outside of Zag hoops, the Spokane sports fan has to be a connoisseur of minor league sports. It is, as you say, "the complete opposite of Cal in the Bay Area."
I went to spokane for the tournament a few years back

basically a cow town in the middle of no where

the probably follow the Seattle teams, but unless they flew would not attend any games in person

of course, my stay in Spokane was unexpectedly short. my hotel was nice enough to let me leave after one night, even through I had a longer reservation. The other apparent 'attraction' in the town was a small casino.

everyone I met was very nice, and their college is a destination because of the higher profile they earned from their basketball team

Spokane is the second largest city in the state of Washington.

Well, if by the long shot chance, the Zags lose, and he takes it like a man, and with grace, I'm all in for the guy.

FWIW that's more than Tempe, Salt Lake City, Eugene, Boulder, or Corvallis (though Tempe and Boulder are close to bigger cities).

Hey, if Jeffrey "one-flap-down" Leonard can call St Louis a cow town, then HD can do the same for Spokane.

When he did it, I said "Look at that (young Caucasian male) flex". Then I said, "Yeah flex, (malefactor), flex. And I laughed and laughed about the consternation he was causing. He played tough on both ends of the floor. His flex was on point.

He is equivalent to Fred Biletnikoff, except on the court. Slow, smart but with moves. If I owned an NBA team, I would take both Mobleys before I took him.

Without a doubt. Much more upside with the Mobleys.

But college games are decided by performance, not "upside".

The Pac-12 is also getting it done on the women's side with 14 wins and 2 Pac-12 teams in the final.

Location matters. Spokane might have as many people as Fremont, but it's much more like an oversized Chico than a Bay Area suburb.

I like Miley pandering to Boomers with her song selection. She would have had the pipes to front a Rock band in the 60's and 70's.

Not sure if UCLA will win but they are giving the zags the best game they've had all season

Making a lot of tough shots and denying Gonzaga their usual transition buckets. We'll see if they can keep it up.

He hit the hand, but the hand was on the ball. Isn't the hand part of the ball in that situation?
