Those are some amazing stats - does not look like UCLA played any defense. (I didn't watch the game - so this is just based on the stats)

Wow, the Cronin Program seems to be in meltdown mode... and that has happened just the past couple of months.

Even if he's right, nobody wants to hear that. The dumb (F)UCLA players can go find a program where the coach says stuff like, "My players are really smart, but they have a dumb coach. I'm gonna try and get smarter as fast as I can, so I can coach these Einsteins up."

Can a coach be fired "with cause" for calling his players stupid... if they really are stupid?

(eh, i guess he can if it's in his contract that he can't do that)

You would have to review the Termination for Cause provision but I doubt negative reinforcement coaching and name calling would justify avoiding paying that kind of heavy scratch.

I have watched Cronin coach for years and I have always found his slow, offensively challenged style of play to be extremely boring and unexciting. It is definitely different than some of the Fucla teams of the past

No that was our game lol. That is a really douchy gesture too. A leader has to have self-control at least with his players. Just like coaches will call out bad body language from his players. I'm all about watching this implode.

If Cronin recruited stupid players to play for US News & World Report's top ranked public school, THAT would be pretty stupid and it would be even more stupid to advertise how stupid he is.

The players aren't stupid they just don't want to play for stupid anymore.
