So how did this FINALLY happen? And yes its about time!! And way over due!! Bunch of dumbasses working in the AD department and it took this long? And why only 3 games? Should be for the remaining 7.

My guesss is at least one factor is Madsen lobbying for it.

I think this is a trial balloon. Hope it works. Rock the Haas! Lets hope we get lots of extra bodies. hopefully someone shares this info in every classroom.

It's about dang time! I wish we had free student tickets when I was a student. For a Pell Grant student, tickets to Cal games were an unnecessary expense.

That said, when I did get (free) tickets, I went (and even took a girlfriend) to Cal games.

I'll be at the RSF before the game and try to get the word out about the free tix and food

hopefully cal won't make the same mistake that WBB made earlier this year. they gave out the free food BEFORE the game OUTSIDE Haas

I heard most students just came for the free food and never went inside Haas

I'm hoping that a good amount of students will show up and witness a win. I really miss the days when Haas had sellout crowds every game. Maybe this can jumpstart a good trend.

According to Cal Athletics, "In recognition of International Night, the first 500 students will receive free food at Entry 6 of Haas Pavilion."
