Ah, 30 years ago, I was there. It was a big punch to the gut. I can't say I appreciate the reminder.

Cone just can't help but insist he's the guy from three. We were doing great with his unselfish play, until it flipped. That, and the laziness on ball security, are my only beefs with this team. Madsen needs to lay down the law on those two issues. Secure that ball like someone's trying to steal your infant child. And stop firing up threes if you're not wide open. If this team would abide by both of those, they'd be a tournament team. Hopefully we can get an even more capable center and a point guard next year. Madsen can coach, but he needs players with a bit more basketball iq if he's not going to lay the smack down.

Shooting lights out in 1st half, may not last in 2nd, but we still have the advantage if we keep this same level of defensive effort. Shows me we could have a 13-8 record instead of the reverse if we had found our defensive rhythm earlier in the season. Glad to see Aimaq doing his job, grabbing rebs and getting (most) of the easy put backs in.
