Bears Add Portal PG DJ Campbell
The Bears stayed active on the commitment trail, pulling in the first of two portal transfers of the day in Western Carolina point guard DJ Campbell.
The 6-2/205 junior averaged 11.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his soph season in 2023-24 while shooting 52.9% from the field and 41% from 3.

As a prep at Kecoughtan High School in Hampton, Virginia, Campbell earned 2nd team all-state honors, averaging 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists a game as the Peninsula District Player of the Year in 2022.
Campbell became the fourth portal transfer commit of 2024, joining JC All-American wing Jeff Nwanko, Vandy transfer center Lee Dort and North Dakota forward B.J. Omot.
