agree. I've seen it a million times. a good or great player gets locked down by someone.
it's a combo of a matchup, type of defense, or other factors such as quickness, strength, size, etc.
regarding type of defense, sometimes a defender gives someone too much space, or sometimes a defender lets a player get too deep a position, or sometimes a defender maybe low to the ground a have quick hands so that killer cross doesn't work against him, etc, etc. etc.
