There definitely was. But that's where visits come into play, why they're so important in the process. I believe there was no longer interest after the visit.

I wouldn't bet money on it, as nothing is for sure. But based off what I know, I think Cal is indeed a finalist.
Update: Her boyfriend is no longer headed to Colorado State. I don't know the specifics, but I believe he has reopened his recruitment.

Sorry, I actually appreciate your helpful post. It's just way too hard to follow WBB recruiting with the hit and miss media coverage. So much easier to keep track on the men's side. Really makes it a challenge for Cal WBB fans.

Ditto. Everyday I check in here to see if there's any breaking news on Sabrina Ionescu and/or Micole Cayton. It's an absolute waste of energy and especially my time. I find WBB recruiting as the least enjoyable of any sport at Cal.

I'm a recruitnik and I do have fun tracking the recruiting of the majority of the 26 Bear teams. By the time that the actual 11th hour decision is made-in particular on the late recruits-it's a great relief and most of the joy has evaporated into thin air. The early verbals don't cause me any problems... GO BEARS!

Cal women's basketball recruiting may be a roller coaster but our men's recruiting has been worse. Recently our men have had 2 5-star players sign in the spring, 4 verbal commits end up elsewhere, 1 recruit signed elsewhere end up at Cal, 2 grad transfers plus 1 undergrad transfer plus 1 JC transfer in, 1 more undergrad transfer possibly in, 1 grad transfer out, and 1 player out to the NBA.

True. The football program has also had slew of transactions going BOTH ways. For me, it's easier to handle when there are multiple personnel transactions happening...

It's easier for me when information is not difficult to find. Don't care about how many transactions. When comes to MBB information is normally out there with a simple Google.

Yes, Micole is currently at Cal on an official visit. No updates yet, but I would not be surprised if an announcement regarding her decision was made tonight or early tomorrow. I hope she chooses Cal too!

Actually Raoul came out later that AZ is still in the mix but this was posted on June 7.
