I would also choose our 3 bears over those huskies altho I would take Forbes, Peterson and either Brown or Melgorza as the top 3 of those 6.

Just realized (one day after the game) that CJ West didn't play last night. This might explain why Hue played some minutes in the 2nd quarter. I'm surprised that nobody mentioned her absence on this game thread. Anybody know why she didn't play?
Thanks.SFCALBear72 said:Concussion protocol.IssyBear said:

Statement released by Cal Athletics:
SEATTLE - Cal junior forward CJ West will not be available for today's game against Washington due to concussion-like symptoms from a collision late in Sunday's game against Arizona. West is under the concussion protocol and her status is being monitored.

True. Real trolls, those despicable folk, question the basic worth of women's team sports.CalFanatic said:
Again- I find it amusing you refer to people who-rightfully so-point out Coach G underperforms and does not get the best out of her players.
TROLLS!
So laughable. But anyways, congratulations to the players on gritting out the W last night.

I know this is the Cal/UW game thread, but...
AZ played Oregon tough for awhile, entering the 4th down 10. Then literally could not score. As in 0 points in the fourth! What?! With McDonald on your team?
So when Cal scored only 4 points (in the 2nd quarter) against AZ last weekend, I thought that was as bad as it gets. But I guess it could have been worse.
Not even any foul shots. And it was a home game. Truly remarkable.GATC said:pearbear said:

Well McDonald did score 26 in the first three quarters. But 0 points in a quarter is pretty amazing.
Some posters are constantly negative, in an illogical and hostile way, that makes a message board a toxic place. It drives many people and good contributors away. Some take genuine enjoyment in pissing people off. Others are just fools who's negativity somehow makes them feel smarter than the optimists.BearBint said:True. she really gave it up on that play, but it's really bad she got a concussion from that play. I had seen she broke or lost a tooth, and was worried it was something worse when it happened because she stayed face down for so long.GATC said:SFCALBear72 said:Concussion protocol.IssyBear said:

Oh no. Poor CJ. She really took a beating last weekend plus she's played with a bad back all year.
