Just realized (one day after the game) that CJ West didn't play last night. This might explain why Hue played some minutes in the 2nd quarter. I'm surprised that nobody mentioned her absence on this game thread. Anybody know why she didn't play?

Oh no. Poor CJ. She really took a beating last weekend plus she's played with a bad back all year.

I hope CJ is available for the WSU game. The WSU game (Senior Game, etc.) will be tougher than the UW game which wasn't easy at all.

AZ played Oregon tough for awhile, entering the 4th down 10. Then literally could not score. As in 0 points in the fourth! What?! With McDonald on your team?

So when Cal scored only 4 points (in the 2nd quarter) against AZ last weekend, I thought that was as bad as it gets. But I guess it could have been worse.

Some posters are constantly negative, in an illogical and hostile way, that makes a message board a toxic place. It drives many people and good contributors away. Some take genuine enjoyment in pissing people off. Others are just fools who's negativity somehow makes them feel smarter than the optimists.

Over the years I've tried to counter that many times, on many different types of message boards, posting what I hope to be constructive and interesting views, but eventually I always lose the war and decide to move on to more enjoyable pursuits.

Congrats to Schroeder71, CalFanatic, CalBear80, annarborbear and the others. You win. I'll go find something better to do with my time.

she really gave it up on that play, but it's really bad she got a concussion from that play. I had seen she broke or lost a tooth, and was worried it was something worse when it happened because she stayed face down for so long.

yeah, she's played hurt all year. hope she recovers and gets the rests she needs
