Let me guess... He would have gotten covid, and it would have ended his career anyway? Shaking my head... Bring on safer vaccines.
What makes you think his breath holding career is over? Your link says he's still able to hold his breath for 8 minutes and he's still recovering so this sounds a bit alarmist.

For a world class athlete like him, probably would have been a good idea to wait a week or two before resuming activity. Hopefully he fully recovers and has no further complications. His story is pretty unique given what type of stress I would imagine holding your breath for 10+ minutes does to your body.

As to your question, yes, he was more likely to contract myocarditis from COVID than the vaccine, particularly if he were to start training before he recovered. The fact that he appears to have received it from the vaccine doesn't change anything. I would also note that it says he was diagnosed 40 days after his second dose so it's not entirely clear what's going on here. He may have inadvertently exacerbated his condition by not checking with his doctor as soon as he noticed difficulties. Hopefully he will fully recover like the vast majority of myocarditis patients.

By the way, my friend, a physician, just got an ER patient who got vaccinated but then sawed off his arm to remove "the chip.". Crazy.
Are you serious? I guess that's a pretty good example of the dangers of anti-vaccine misinformation. That is a pretty high price to pay for falling victim to hucksters.

Yup. Also a high price to pay for government dishonesty .
Are you implying this guy cut off his arm because the government was dishonest about microchips in vaccines?

It's not the government's fault so many people, like you, are spreading dangerous anti-vaccine misinformation. To your credit, you haven't yet started claiming that the vaccines have chips in them, but most victims of the sort of misinformation you peddle aren't savvy enough to differentiate between the various strains. So I would venture that the person who cut off his arm also believes in many of the same things that you regularly post. It's all part of the same toxic swirl.

Let's get this straight. You are the one who peddles misinformation. You actually have a lot in common with this moron. You both can't tell truth from fiction. You just believe everything your media tells you.
LOL from the guy who pretends he's not posting misinformation by occasionally posting misinformation that normally doesn't meet his low misinformation bar.

You're the guy who posted multiple times that COVID vaccines have killed 20x as many people as all other vaccines combined despite knowing that it's a preposterous lie. And just a few weeks ago you posted a completely made up tweet about the Australian Navy having 1100 cases of myocarditis. You are just walking talking confirmation bias.

But please, continue to pretend that I'm posting dangerous misinformation.

Again, misinformation. Poor quote / misinterpretation. The death rate of covid vaccines are 20x that of any other mass vaccine, such as the flu vaccine. Your head is in the sand.
Where's your evidence of 20x the death rate? Oh right, you don't have anything other than unverified VAERS reporting which doesn't support the type of analysis you pretend to be performing. And the fraud continues.

I am only posting this because these are celebrity athletes. It pretty clear to all but the brain dead or fanatic that the health authorities in the United States are hesitant to blame the covid vaccine for any death. This is one example. There are several.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tampabay.com/news/health/2021/03/17/aubrey-huff-ties-vaccine-to-hank-aaron-marvin-hagler-deaths-no-evidence-politifact-says/%3foutputType=amp

I have posted other examples. You choose to disbelieve all of them because no federal authority will validate that the death was caused by the vaccine. The media covers this up as well. They are trying to protect us by hiding the truth.

I am simply advocating vaccines that don't cause death at all. Covid is way more dangerous than mRNA vaccines for almost everyone. Covid vaccines are way more dangerous than flu vaccines, which are hardly dangerous at all. I have a high standard for what someone not sick should put in their body to prevent getting sick. We typically have always had these standards, but they've been tossed aside. mRNA are more dangerous than other vaccines. They still aren't very dangerous, but I advocate for SAFER vaccines.

Have you reached out to Aubrey Huff to see what he thinks about those deaths? He's the expert right?

Keep the hysterics coming 003. Totally doesn't make you look like a crazy anti vaxxer.

I am sorry I caused that guy to cut his arm off. I probably caused Aaron Rodgers to not get vaccinated. My bad. I probably also caused the unvaccinated guy who happened to infect all the Cal players to not take the vaccine. My bad.

When you have such an intolerable vaccine, you need to space out the vaccinations, so you don't have to shut down due to side effects. My kids' daycare had a scheduled day off the Monday after mRNA vaccinations.

This is a factual news story with links you can click on for first story corroboration. It lacks the pro mRNA vaccine agenda that your echo chamber has. Come on, branch out a little bit. Maybe you will learn something.

Then post the links from the news story directly. I don't want to slime my browser history with Infowars. I can only imagine the type of ads Google will start sending me. Besides, I can't think of anyone that has been more thoroughly wrong and discredited over the past 10 years than Alex Jones.

However, one has to wonder how many people were really sick and how many uses it as an excuse to have a long weekend.

My sister manages a restaurant and she said among her staff she felt the percentage of people genuinely ill versus using it as an excuse (for those who took any time off at all) was about 50% based on what she knew of that person's job history (previous history of absenteeism, etc.)

Who knows in this case? It is frustrating that not enough studies have been done about the side effects, their severity, and the prevalence.

In my own case I think waiting almost 6 months between doses really helped alleviate side effects.

Oh, I'm sure that school did have a one-day shortage of staff.

It's just that posting stories from InfoWars and Aubrey Huff demonstrates the bias in the information you are receiving. You think you're not in an echo chamber with sources like that?

Also, side effects are really being categorized incorrectly.

Arm pain is something I would expect after an intramuscular injection. Arm pain so bad I can't move my arm for 2 weeks would be unusual.

Myocarditis is HIGHLY unusual.

When people talk about side effects we really should be taking about serious or unusual side effects and not arm pain or headache that resolves with ibuprofen.

Getting information from a biased source doesn't make the information biased. I can think critically when I come across an article like this. You should be able to as well. Your sources have biases as well.

My post was about tolerability. mRNA vaccines are awful. 99% of the time, people are fine 24-36 hours later. I am getting a lot of pushback here for stating facts about mRNA covid vaccines. Something can be true even if you don't want it to be.
