i know you are too much of a humanitarian to think this way, but maybe this whole thing will work out: the vaccinated liberals will gradually die off, leaving control of the government to hearty, immune, resilient right-wingers!

I get it, but it will be a lot easier to find humor in this situation when it is in the rear-view mirror.

tl;dr

long covid (from infection) + "vaccine" = long, long covid (no bueno)

misinformation clown show...here's a snip

"Allison Neitzel rocketed to national fame on CNN after graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin and posting a letter on social media that accused Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers of spreading COVID misinformation. Rodgers said he was allergic to one of the vaccine ingredients and didn't need to be vaccinated because he had already been sick with COVID, however, this was almost a year before the CDC stated that prior infection was no different than being vaccinated.
Despite spreading false information about Rodgers, Neitzel's letter and purported medical bona fides proved catnip to reporters at MedPage Today, Mother Jones, and NBC, who quoted her as a physician exposing medical misinformation. Columns Neitzel has written for websites WhoWhatWhy and Science-Based Medicine also claim she is a physician focusing on disinformation.
And this is where the circus fun begins, because famed medical misinformation expert Allison Neitzel is not now, nor has she ever been, a physician.
Allison Neitzel did not respond to multiple requests for comment to explain.

I began unraveling Allson Neitzel's COVID circus act shortly after she posted the apology to her website with the ironic name "MisinformationKills" and pinned it to the top of her @AliNeitzelMD X account.
Neitzel's apology details a long list of false statements she made against multiple physicians accusing them of a fraud and grift, along with weasel words that make clear this is a non-apology apology, in the vein of "I am sorry if you feel bad."
"I regret if anyone understood the statements as accusations that any of them had engaged in fraudulent professional or business practices," Neitzel writes.
You can read her apology below, but the depth and particulars of Neitzel's defamation of real medical experts is impossible to know because she has deleted many of her posts on social media and on MisinformationKills."

My summary: There's a known cancer promoter, Simian Virus DNA (SV 40), in all the Pfizer Covid vaccines including the latest booster. This was discovered by a genomics expert who brought it to the attention of regulators. They didn't test for this or other DNA contamination and simply relied on disclosure from Pfizer, but Pfizer simply decided not to reveal it to them. Despite belng deceived by Pfizer and blindsided by this revelation and not even knowing the impact it could have, this was their response:

"In his Aug. 23 email to an FDA colleague, Dr. Smith said Health Canada did not view the SV40 issues as an "urgent risk topic," although he expressed concerns about how the SV40 news could impact the upcoming fall 2023 vaccination campaign.

"It would be unfortunate if the information circulating had a negatively [sic] impact on public acceptance of the vaccine this year or in the future," he said."

Maher subjected him to a blistering cross examination, didn't he? Billy was an arse kissing joke. RFK Jr was underwhelming. He claims he was misquoted regarding being an anti vaxxer. He then cited a bunch of imaginary polls that no one has ever seen that he is beating everybody.
He is a f@ucking crackpot that did nothing to advance his stock.
His father would be ashamed….just like the rest of his family is.

Why is it that the solution always seem to be more jabs? Funny how that works.

"A study from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that children who received an original COVID-19 vaccine have little protection against hospitalization for the virus.
Upon receiving the vaccine, children had 52% protection against hospitalization, but after just four months, the vaccine's efficacy dropped to 19%.
Protection against alleged critical illness also dropped in the months following inoculation, from 57% to 25%.
The study involved children aged 5-18 who received two or more doses of the original Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines between December 19, 2021, and October 29, 2023.
The CDC concluded its study by calling for "up to date" vaccinations."

"25% of Americans believe they know someone who died because of the C19 shots."

That is the most unscientific piece of garbage imaginable. At least 25% of Americans follow right-wing talking points hook, line and sinker, so when anybody they know dies, they're going to think it's because of the C19 shots.

That's like saying that the sun revolved around the earth 500 years ago because 71% of the people believed it.

I love Bill Maher in general, but when he starts talking about health and goes beyond the importance of diet and exercise, he tends to enter Crazy Town (where RFK Jr resides).

There is definitely an ideological bias in that kind of a study, but it cuts both ways. I would fall under those 25%, as I had a former co-worker, who was a very fit, avid biker/jogger, thin woman in her mid-30s that took the jab on a Friday and was found dead in her apt from a brain aneurysm two days later.

Her friends and family vehemently dismissed out of hand the possibility that the vaccine could have been a factor, so she was never a part of VAERS or any official statistic on mRNA vaccine side effects. It was back in the very early stages of the rollout, and there was a very strong cultural polarization around the vaccine. she was among the very first to get jabbed in her age group.

So her friends and family would fall into the 75% of those surveyed that answered they didn't know anyone who has died from the vax' side effects. My point here is that for every "false positive" in that survey, there are also "false negatives" like the friends and family of my late former colleague...

Exactly. And people who are so quick to dismiss this, in the face of mounting evidence, conveniently looks away from all the people who reportedly "died from Covid" when we know that Covid was not the underlying cause of their death. But hey, we had to justify closing down society, and then forcing perfectly healthy young people to get this vaccine in order to go back to school. Terrible.

Agree in that I'm sure that using that kind of "evidence" cuts both ways:

But hey, we had to justify closing down society, and then forcing perfectly healthy young people to get this vaccine in order to go back to school. Terrible.

One of the main ways they have gamed the stats on covid deaths is that they considered those that got the jab as unvaccinated 10-14 days immediately after their injection, because the vaccine takes several days to generate its full immune response potential. However, the period right after the jab is where the patient is most likely to show adverse effects, including death. So they have effectively transferred a lot of vaccine deaths and injuries from the vaccinated column into the unvaccinated.

Who could have predicted that the worst thing to happen to us would be the internet. The power of anecdotal evidence is incredible. For Big Bang Theory fans this has led to Penny's dumb boyfriend Zach uttering a stupid line that would become so true, "... that's what I love about science: everyone's opinion counts".

I have always advocated that anyone 40+ or with any sort of breathing issues to get the jab. Mandates for college students was asinine. Separate work isolation protocols for vaxxes vs unvaxxed who were "exposed" that doesn't take in account prior covid was asinine. That happened at my work, as well as Aaron Rodgers' employment. It certainly doesn't stop a lot of know it all arm chair QBs from criticizing him though!

Even if that were true, you are implying that for people under a certain age that the risks from Covid are not worse than getting the jab. Prior ignorance is perhaps understandable, but why are we still recommending multiple Covid jabs for children? Now we know that efficacy drops to negative after a few months. We know of multiple kinds of serious side effects but we still do not know about the long term effects. So again, why are these things permitted, let alone recommended, for healthy children? What does the fact that they are say about the integrity of our health institutions?
