I read 10 books about tRump. Cohen's was the best because it was an eyewitness account of the dirty stuff. tRumpsters claim the book is just the lies of a disgruntled ex employee just like his testimony in legal proceedings. Problem with that theory:
Mobsters said the same thing about every rat that ever wrote a tell all book or testified at trial after getting a deal from the prosecutor. Those rats convicted dozens of mafioso. Why? Because their testimony was inherently believable. Everything that Cohen has ever said about tRump a jury would think: "Oh yeah, tRump for sure would do something like that."
The two stories that stuck out the most in my mind from Cohen's book:
1. When tRump made a lecherous comment to Cohen about a minor female in a bikiniā¦. that turned out to be Cohen's daughter but tRump did not know it; and
2. When tRump had Cohen hire a hacker to get tRump a high rating in an online Most Successful Business Man poll and then tRump stiffed the hacker on his fee. Cohen noted that it was tRump's belief that only chumps line up at the starting line in any contest.
The stories I have recounted above will only make The Deplorables (and derailed Progressives that now want to break their toys and destroy the country because Bernie didn't win) love him all the more, as did tRump's comment last week that a general* told him he is braver than men who died in combat because he showed up for a debate with Hillary after his grab'em by the meow meow comment on that bus.
*Raise your hand if you think the schizoid General Michael Flynn told him that.
* I used to think that the most astute comment tRump ever made was that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose a vote. He was actually wrong. He could do a mass shooting on Fifth Avenue with and AR-15 killing 300 people and not lose a single vote. That is how much his supporters hate the principles upon which Western Civilization and America were built upon.
Way to go, man. True to the establishment Dem playbook:
- Cling to the unsustainable Neoliberal status quo, despite the overwhelming popularity of Progressive economic policies;
- Cling to candidate Biden -- now the most unpopular incumbent President in the history of polling -- because he's the favorite of the corporate donors -- NOT voters;
- Disparage & fight against Progressives within the Party at every opportunity -- instead of fighting Republicans;
- Blame Progressives for every electoral loss;
- Blame the Voters for being "too stupid" to recognize their own interests.
Case in point: 80% of Democrats were in favor of a cease fire in Gaza. But only a handful of Democratic Members of Congress stood behind their call for peace; all the rest supported, and continue to support, Israel's genocide & ethnic cleansing.
Now, if you support a cease fire, or protest against genocide & ethnic cleansing, you lose your scholarship, or your job, or your tenure, for being "anti-Semitic."
Democratic politicians, including the Biden administration, have completely lost touch with their voters. But rather than looking at the data & responding with more popular policies and candidates, they're digging their heels in & flipping the bird at their own voters. Every day, they're effectively showing a big banner on the wall behind them that says, "WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK."
You might remember how the election in 2016 turned out, when Hillary & the Dems did the same thing. There's no reason to expect anything different this time, because
the Dems haven't learned anything from their loss in 2016. Hillary still blames the Russians, or the Bernie Bros, or... whatever. She
never takes
any responsibility for
Her Loss. And now she's advising the Biden campaign??? (:-o
In 2016, when the "Democratic" primary polls showed that younger / Millennial voters favored Bernie by a huuge margin, Hillary's campaign responded, initially, by calling them "stupid." Soon after, we were treated to a series of jokes that disparaged Millennials, usually distributed among the 55+ crowd by email.
