I don't think tRump fell under the treason statute either. He probably ran afoul of election interference and sedition statutes.
Some of these guys in tRump's inner circle are so excited about touching dicks with him that they are forgetting that tRump, once he becomes a sitting President again, is the only one that his SCOTUS gave a free pass to say and do anything he wants without consequence.
Vindman should hire the Susman Godfrey law firm, the attorneys that sued Fox News for Dominion Voting Systems, to sue Musk for republishing that defamation. The measure of punitive damages against the richest man in the world would be HUGE.
Now that tRump has his hands on the levers of power again, why is he even allowing 4th rate characters like Gorka to have any involvement?
Any of tRump's "enemies" that are prosecuted based on "fantasy" MAGA/Fox News created allegations should file state court actions for malicious prosecution against the federal government.
Summary for the thick:
tRump is the only one that can continue to throw sh@it into the ceiling fan without facing any liability. If his surrogates do it, and they have any assets, they are either going to be writing big checks like Fox News did in Dominion ($787M), or they are going to be starting a GoFundMe for food money like poor Rudy when their assets get taken away.
*This is an example of how government officials targeted for retribution by tRump's paranoid delusions can fight back:
