And yet if you talk to Donald Trump, a different Epstein emerges. "I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy," Trump booms from a speakerphone. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

Going back into the archives 21 years ago? This just shows that there was no way Trump would have been remotely interested in E. Jean Carroll.

I heard they were big Clinton donors and invited the evil Clintons to their wedding, which they attended from the front row. Oh wait, no that was Trump. I wonder if the Trumps and Clintons dined on adrenochrome together?

Maybe I got confused because Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb had Jeffrey Epstein as an honored guest at their previous wedding. Oh wait, that was also Trump.

Now I remember - liberal sexual harasser Matt Lauer went to TD/TD's weddings. Shoot, Trump again.
Libtard Gayle King? Also famously attended Trump's wedding.
"third-rate reporter" Katie Couric? Honored Trump wedding guest.

Turns out there is a long list of libtards and criminals that Trump associated with and were close enough friends to witness his nuptials. Almost seems like he was the center of the cabal.

And yet, somehow his adoring fans omit him from all of their batsh()t conspiracy theories. Maybe they're all in on it.

Oprah too. Trump was in deep with the Democrat elite and then he said bad things about Obama because he was wrecking the country and the cult kicked him out. Now they're trying to put him in prison but he'll end up being their president again.

This is a great point - I guess I didn't think about the possibilities for his political career to advance while in prison.

If there is one election Trump can actually win, it would be for President of a prison, like a student body president but instead of promising better vending machines he would promise a b*tch in every cell, or whatever. I guess if they don't have official prisoner elections, Trump could run for President of whatever white power gang he joins in the clink. I doubt that Obama and Oprah would be in his constituents, but white supremacists are dumb as hell, so anything is possible.

The slow and steady "seepage" of reality into the MSM is starting to intensify, they are now openly reporting storylines that I have been covering since last year, like Ukraine using forced conscriptions:

'People Snatchers': Ukraine's Recruiters Use Harsh Tactics to Fill Ranks
Ukrainian men are reporting incidents of wrongful draft notices, unprofessional medical commissions and coercive mobilization tactics.
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/15/world/europe/ukraine-military-recruitment.html

Ukraine needs new troops so badly it is taking people's passports and tried to recruit a mentally disabled man
https://www.businessinsider.com/ukraine-needs-troops-aggressive-military-recruiting-tactics-russia-war-2023-12

Russia has supposedly lost 87% of its original Ukrainian invasion army, according to 427+ intelligence agencies - those leftover 13% Russkies must really be amazing superhuman soldiers, because they are advancing everywhere...

In reality Russia has lost about 45k-55k KIA, according to the best source on the subject, the BBC-affiliated Mediazona project, which tracks that number very carefully:

https://en.zona.media/article/2022/05/20/casualties_eng

^ Kandahar is not the Donbass.

Afghanistan was a colonial war of occupation by the USSR, which resulted in over a million Afghan civilians killed by the Soviets. In the Ukraine war, civilians have made up about 3%-4% of total deaths, vs 90% in the Afghan war. The percentage of civilians killed was even higher in US occupation wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Back to the Ukraine war: Putin has just signaled his intention to take Odessa, pretty much what Mearsheimer and other astute analysts have predicted, Barring a military coup in Kiev and a sharp break from their current anti-Russian stance, the war is going to keep going. Russia intends to annex almost all of historic "Novorossiya" or New Russia, the regions of Ukraine with majority Russian speakers, shown in blue below:

At some point next year, Ukraine's military is going to start getting attrited to a point where they won't be able to contain wider Russian advances.

Nobody thinks Ukraine can defeat Russia militarily. If Russia is determined to conquer all of Ukraine it will. However, the cost would be high and it seems pointless. Russia keeps doubling down on its dumb invasion and no one can come up with any good reasons for why it should do so. A lot of people are suffering unnecessarily and that is 100% on Russia.

Bold part is patently false, just look at all of U2S' posts, lol. Pretty much all NATO officials and the MSM pushed the notion that Russia was a military inept country that would be defeated by NATO-trained Ukrainian army boosted with NATO wonderweapons. Gen. Ben hodges, former commander of all NATO forces, predicted only last Spring that Ukraine would crush through Russian lines and reach Crimea, precipitating Russian military collapse and regime change in Moscow.

https://twitter.com/***uyamaFrancis/status/1660719188128993281

(site software censors Francis F ukuyama's last name, here is the text and content from that tweet:

Why Ukraine will defeat Russia: an interview with Gen. Ben Hodges

Russia cannot hold the western half of Ukraine (and does not want to), that region being almost completely Ukrainian and very much hostile to Russia. Annexing the Russophone southern and eastern parts on the other hand is politically feasible for them, especially since the Ukrainian state and economy are going to collapse at some point down the line.

As well Russia sustained its heaviest military losses last winter in and around Bakhmut, they now face an attrited Ukrainian army that is at a huge disadvantage in ammunition supply, training, air defense, electronic warfare etc.

Quote:

A lot of people are suffering unnecessarily and that is 100% on Russia.
This war was entirely preventable, NATO and Kiev scuttled both the Minsk Agreements and the Istanbul peace agreement, which would have saved half a million Ukrainian lives and preserved Ukraine as the largest country in Europe.

You're right though that at this point, Russia could stop the war, but they are going instead to press their military advantage and require Ukraine to demilitarize and stay neutral.

Chauntae Davies was a 22-year-old sex-trafficked massage therapist who later became another Epstein accuser.

Bill Clinton's policies of national healthcare, welfare reform (in place and largely untouched), government spending restraint and deficit reduction (name a Democratic President since Clinton who hasn't lowered the deficit), crime bill (completely unnecessary in our current low crime era), higher taxes on the rich, and defense of Medicare / Medicaid are very much at home in today's Democratic Party.

Where Clinton erred is the financial deregulation and lower capital gains taxes he did with conservatives.

Bill Clinton's policies of national healthcare
Politicking for legislation and passing legislation are not the same thing.

welfare reform (in place and largely untouched)
You must be joking. It was controversial on the Left even then and only praised in hindsight when it proved effective. Today's Left would be howling (even more than usual).

government spending restraint and deficit reduction (name a Democratic President since Clinton who hasn't lowered the deficit) Internet boom, GFC, Covid make attribution difficult and the sample size is small. It used to be, Republicans wanted defense, Dems wanted domestic programs. No more. It's abundantly clear that the current regime wants to spend...on EVERYTHING. We have a 7% deficit during a post-money printing boom. What's the deficit going to be in a recession? yikes

crime bill (completely unnecessary in our current low crime era)
Really? Tell that to the people who live in Blue cities.

higher taxes on the rich, and defense of Medicare / Medicaid are very much at home in today's Democratic Party.

Makes for a nice slogan, but you can't have a welfare state funded only by the rich. Look at Sweden. Everyone pays into the system, unlike here where around 50% pay nothing despite extracting massive benefits. It's unsustainable and will end very badly as it did for the Peronists.

Where Clinton erred is the financial deregulation and lower capital gains taxes he did with conservatives.
Agree about financial deregulation. That, NAFTA and allowing China to join the WTO without strings attached were disasters for American core economic strength and the middle class. Higher capital gains taxes? Fine, then don't take credit for the venture investment boom. And you do realize that much of the gains being taxed are phantom gains because gains are not indexed to inflation? Btw, what were Clinton's positions on the Progressive hot button issues of the day like capitalism, the border, homosexuality and gender issues?

I've been in NYC twice recently. Great times. No issues.

I also find it funny that you don't know how Medicare is taxed.

But what I really want to say is that Bill Clinton pushed hard for healthcare. It was a centerpiece of his first couple years. It failed when unions turned on him because they wanted to keep their cushy Cadillac plans.

It's not funny that you think Medicare "taxes" somehow cover the cost of the system. This kind of tragic innumeracy is rampant on the Left and frankly most Republicans (or cornucopians as I call them) aren't much better.

This is the way to get the GOP to support Ukraine. Tell them Hunter is on the take from Putin.

A lot of ink has been spilled by shills crowing about Ukraine's failure to end the war this year but nary a mention of the fact that Russia's 2023 offensive was an unmitigated disaster. Russia occupies less of Ukraine than it did in the spring of 2022.

This war has been a humanitarian disaster for both sides, but the shills like to pretend that because Ukraine is suffering, the war has been a success for Russia. By any standard, including every prediction made by the pro-Putin crowd, Russia has massively underperformed in this war. They went from pretending to be the second best military in the world to a regional power with nukes. Russia is in far worse shape than it was before the war and has precious little hope for an outright victory. Russia's military path to victory depends upon the West cutting off aid to Ukraine.
