Yes, I would run some errands in the mid-afternoon and turn on Chip Franklin.
He was fairly even-keeled but could get a bit snarky at times with a caller who was being "pig-headed". His strength was being able to bounce from one topic to another, and he even had some decent guests on. But the "we just want the rich to pay their fair share" mantra got a little old.

In a dramatic economic move, KGO bought out Franklin's contract and revised the other talk show host's schedules to fill the gap. I guess Cumulus is under a lot of financial pressure.

They've extended John Rothman's hours but he isnt a PM drive time host.

His skill is politics and the Middle East.
He's a single topic guy and has shown no ability to move point to point and issue to issue.
He's perfect Podcast material, but he just isnt able to bounce around from topic to topic.
And that's what's needed during a PM drive talk show which are usually caller driven.

Credit to Romney for voting to confirm her appointment.
All other 47 Republicans get a permanent NO vote from me.

At least I was replying to someone who was posting about the typical Republican "rank and file" that vote for people who dont even represent their interests. I used a caller from a taped KGO Talk Show to further elaborate on the mindset of the typical GOP voter. To be fair, I didnt post about KGO "scheduling" until after Big C posted about it.

I preferred the "old days", when, if a candidate was qualified and not crazy-extreme, most all the Senators would vote to ratify the President's choice. We're barely one country anymore.

SCOTUS picks often surprise us. Gorsuch has been even worse than expected. Kavanaugh more of a mixed bag, so less bad than expected but still more or less a conservative hardliner. ACB seems to be a zealot.

Even if KBJ ends up making good calls for the American people she and the other rational judges are going to be outvoted by the 5 conservative hardliners. Kavanaugh being the "swing" vote shows you just how conservative the court has become. KBJ may need to wait a decade or more for the court to become less anti-democratic.
