You get into pissing contests that are of no interest to me all the time. We're all here on Off Topic. None of us should be pulling the "I'm cooler than you, card". If you don't like economics that is fine. But you don't see me chiming in to criticize topics of interest to you.

Wage gains for production & non-supvervisory workers have exceeded inflation, measured vs. pre-pandemic (Feb '20). Yes, wages have more purchasing power now than in the vaunted 2019 economy, despite inflation.
