I recently watched this.

Reagan takes on the KKK in Corona, California.

It was recently restored.

Here is Martin Scorsese on this film.

Two movies I enjoyed recently. Both very concise and beautiful.

I keep flipping the channel in search of a Trump-on-Trial show.

I'm looking for the big ending when the bad guy gets it.

Here's something for you to watch.

I'm not the OP, but an escapist thread that doesn't get clogged up with crap would be cool.

Nick "Mother F@uckin" Cage!

Even his makeup for the interview was Baller. He looks dead and made up by a mortician like Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana.

I feel confident in declaring a very promising prediction - I'm sure I'll never ever ever watch that movie.

Most iconic lines by Cage in Wild at Heart:

"That's Rockin' good news."

"You're hotter than Georgia asphalt."

Saw The Covenant with trepidation. Liked it other than the weird music which was also too loud.

Mandy:

"A psychedelic tale of a quiet logger named Red who lives a life of serenity with his girlfriend Mandy, in their dream cabin in the woods. But when the leader of a deranged cult becomes enamored with Red's girlfriend, he and his people terrorize the couple, leaving Red spiraling into madness. The psychodelic goes full grindhouse as Red, armed with a battle axe and any drugs he can find, goes on a violent rampage, enacting his revenge on the cult in the most gruesome ways."
-IMDb review

I think accompanied by the right woman, a six pack of Mickey's Big Mouth and the proper drug combo, Mandy has potential to be a promising theater experience.

If your looking for bad movies, the greatest bad movie I ever saw was Doom Generation.

My wife has claimed she remembers being born. I have given her crap about this.

So, thank you, I just got the opportunity to give her crap again. She's been topped!

I waited outside the dome theater in Pleasant Hill for about four hours to catch the first showing there with some high school friends. That was a great theater. Now Dick's Sporting Goods is there. Yawn.

It's a fair question, for sure.
And since you asked, I'll answer.
It can be difficult. Yes, it happens, but many roads of conversation lead back to Trump.

As it is in this thread, I look forward to the MANY future films that document, spell out and explain with naked clarity the extent of his illness and criminality!

As it pertains to me, I explain it this way - if you could foresee Hitler ramping up and becoming the evil in action that he became, wouldn't you jump up and down and scream at the horrors that were about to occur?

Granted, trump's form of ruin for America would not be on the battlefield and so I therefore speak in hyperbole. But he ruins so much that I consider vital to "America".

I'm sorry to have tested your patience for it.
It appears the good guys are going to win.
And won't that be a great film?
Palace intrigue, financial scams, secret meetings, sex, and the bad guy always gets what's coming in the end:

A terribly stupid movie. Designed to sell stuffed animals. Right towards the bottom of the Star Wars franchise.

Good question. Belfast is a couple of years old. I would think it should be available streaming. J was sort of an Indie release that had small theatre volume, grew in popularity/volume and may now be winding down. It might not quite be available on streaming.

Neither are academy award winner type films. But both are 'not Hollywood', which I find very refreshing. Possibly because both are based on real stories there are no gratuitous chase scenes, sex, cheesy endings, etc. There are some tender moments, character development, issue exploration, dare I say some feel good stuff. You kind of need to be in those spaces to take in either movie.
