The reason it won't work to try to argue Powell's testimony is not credible because she got a "deal" from the prosecution is because for every dirty, nasty and despicable act she attributes to tRump, the jury will react:

"Oh yeah, tRump would for sure do that and has done much worse."

I suspect there should be a smattering of better-than-Wade prosecutors who will step forward to prosecute Trump pro bono.

It's possible this could be good for the prosecution's effort.

Andrew Weissmann on Morning Joe says Fani should recuse herself and assign another to take over. Hmmm.

Judge allows the case to proceed.

So, this case can live but if a new team comes in it could be delayed beyond November.

Can a president be prosecuted by a state? I don't think so.

Trump must be defeated at the ballot box. Either way. Even if found guilty in Georgia, it would still be up to voters.

So, the question remains: just how stupid are voters??
Because, in Georgia today, it's the improprieties of two lovers vs a rapist who tried to steal an election. Which happens to be a very simple choice.

So I've read Judge McAfee's opinion on Fani Willis/Nathan Wade disqualification, and I think it will still create a lot of problems for Willis going forward (even after Wade withdraws)
