One can only hope that Israeli subs with nukes have a secret stand down order in place if Netanyahu orders a strike similar to what was in place for the guardians of our nuclear forces when tRump was POTUS.

The difference is that we can't tell how many Palestinians oppose what Hamas dead because they're all dead or starving to death right now, whereas we know that Isreal citizens overwhelmingly support the genocide. I bet though that if you could ask Palestinians right now, they would say that the October 7 attack was a bad idea.

Meanwhile, Democrats are panicking about being on the wrong side of history and losing the election, trying to pretend that they stood up against genocide long after it actually mattered to have principles.

Netanyahu (and Israel's) biggest problem is that it doesn't appear they will be able to actually eliminate Hamas. Eliminating Hamas is a goal with wide support in Israel, for obvious reasons.

Hamas has far too much support within and without Palestine. According to Wikipedia, something like 3/4 of Palestinians still support Hamas (as of December) and that more than a third still approved of 10/7 attacks.

Given the insurgent nature of Hamas and the fact that it has broad support among "civilians" it just doesn't appear that Israel can achieve this goal.

Yup, and this is something that a lot of us could have told them way back when this whole war started. It's like when George W. Bush and crew thought they could win a "War on Terror." No, that's not how it works. You can go to war and defeat a particular leader or government, but a terrorist ideology like that of Al Qaeda or Hamas is an idea that takes root in a population and not something you can blow up with bombs. If you kill off the current Hamas leaders in Gaza, there will just be more to take their place.

A different approach is needed.

Approach to what?? The goal was to ethnically cleanse Gaza. Destroy every school, university, hospital, water treatment plant, powerplant, sewag system, mosque, church, market, make Gaza completely unlivable. The pier is being set up to get rid of hundreds of thousands of starved, injured Palestinians.

The Mother Jones article omits that Kuschner allegedly spearheaded the Abraham Accords - 5 Mideast peace deals.

Dr. Jordan Peterson argues that President Trump should have received the Nobel Peace Prize for those peace deals, and he possibly also suggested that President Obama received his NPP for being [half] Black.

According to racist Trump, I'm sure France is a "nice" country and Mexico is not. You and Cal88 are not the same according to Traitor Trump. Cal88 is white.

Funny, but my Mexican side is mostly Spanish, though I am so proud of the little indigenous blood i have (from Michoacan). So, Cal88 is probably a little "Whiter" than me, but to be honest I'm a pretty "White" Hispanic.

But, yes, Trump would probably "accept" Cal88 before a Mexican "animal" like me.

Oso, there are 30 other threads about Trump, this thread is about Gaza. I am not sure Trump would be better on Gaza than Biden though (see my post about Kushner above), and that's all that needs to be said here.
