Trump realizes that you can take things that aren't yours- ****hole countries, Nobel Prizes- and make them yours, and nobody will care.

To be fair, the US government has known that for decades if not longer

Trump here as he says he'd be honored to accept Mara Corina Machado's Nobel Prize if she wants to give it up to him:

https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3mbxrhrw7nq2w

* Trump can score The Hat Trick of Prestigious Awards if he can extort an Oscar and a Heisman Trophy out of a couple of chumps.

*I invite the BI MAGA peanut gallery to log in here. You have all had to become creative writing gymnasts in your attempts to justify and normalize his progressively Bizarro World actions. I'll be waiting.

The Nobel Prize itself cannot be transferred, shared, or revoked once awarded; the decision is final, though the prize money can be given to someone else. This rule was recently reaffirmed by the Norwegian Nobel Committee after Venezuelan opposition leader Mara Corina Machado offered her 2025 Peace Prize to Donald Trump, an offer the Committee stated is impossible under their statutes.

*If Trump won't take Machado's $1.2M in Nobel Peace Prize money in lieu of the hardware, the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo better gird its loins for some incoming.

"Trump to The New York Times, when asked if there are any checks on his global ambitions: "Yeah, there is one thing. My own morality*. My own mind. It's the only thing that can stop me."

"Thank God for this check on his power.

"……as history tells us, tyranny starts with public inattention.Americans have let themselves become so immune to Trump's methodology of lies, the window of acceptance has gotten wider and wider. Forget hoary whoppers like his epic rewrite of January 6th, or his wild claim that he's secured $18 trillion in investments in the U.S., or that he's ended eight foreign wars. It wasn't even of note when Trump threw out en passant on Friday at the White House convening of top oil execs, "I won Minnesota three times in my opinion." (And only his. He lost Minnesota three times.)

After Exxon CEO Darren Woods said at the meeting that Venezuela is "uninvestable" as an oil prospect in its current corrupt state, Trump later showed, with Caligulan caprice, that Woods would be punished for truth-telling. "I will probably be inclined to keep Exxon out," the Almighty pronounced on Air Force One.

Now, Trump's gone after Fed chair Jerome Powell, supposedly for the cost of the Fed renovation overruns, but actually for the transgression of adhering to monetary policy independence. Swap him out with a sock puppet!"

If you read the article you should note that the expert who opined laid a reasonable foundation for throwing Trump under the bus, but chose not to:

" He doesn't, to me, behave demented," he said, adding: "It seems to me that with those New York Times questions recently and press conferences, he grasps the question and appropriately responds or inappropriately, depending on your views but he certainly handles the gist of the question. So I do not see dementia, for which I'm glad, but it is common after strokes for people to behave, as some people say, more like they were beforehand. So if President Trump had a brash personality, I think everyone would say, long ago, he appears to have become even more so."

Davidson said there would be no current reason to invoke the 25th Amendment because Trump appears functionally capable, at least from a superficial perspective. He emphasized that many people recover from strokes while retaining their judgment and ability to perform complex work, though such recovery typically requires support from trusted advisors, whether family or colleagues."

*It is rich coming from an arch Conservative BI poster to allege bias when your brothers here favor Catturd, amuse and dozens of other anonymous sources. If anyone takes the time to research the background of the named sources, more times than not, they are hacks that were discredited long ago…..including the "medical studies."

Remember, your team considers Fact Checking organizations kryptonite to its bullsh@it sources.

Thank You for posting this and the article above.
Sadly, there are people posting here that have very poor reading comprehension given their political bias.

If you will list what you consider the most reliable Fact Checking organizations, I will add them to my list:

FactCheck.org: A non-partisan, non-profit project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center. It focuses on monitoring the factual accuracy of statements made by major U.S. political figures across various media formats.

Snopes: One of the oldest fact-checking websites, widely regarded for its investigative reporting on urban legends, social media rumors, and political myths.

PolitiFact: Owned by the non-profit Poynter Institute, this Pulitzer Prize-winning site uses its "Truth-O-Meter" to rate claims from politicians and pundits.

AP Fact Check: Operated by the Associated Press, this service focuses on debunking widespread misinformation in current news stories.

Reuters Fact Check: An international multimedia news provider that specializes in identifying and examining misinformation circulating on social media.
