Interesting.

Private investors own about 70% of America's debt, the most in about 35 years. And nearly 10% of the Treasury market belongs to hedge funds, who as you may know have plenty of other assets to pick from.

For the likes of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh, both of whom have been the subject of doubt on Wall Street when it comes to their independence, the worry is that price-sensitive buyers wielding more power than ever might be less tolerant of the Trump administration's tendency toward chaotic policymaking.

Interesting how now all of a sudden Trump is reversing tariffs on Canada to help Collins. I guarantee win or lose he will slap them back on just because

The University of Michigan's latest monthly Consumer Sentinent Index came in at 48.0 for its end of month October reading vs 48.1 in September.

This is the SECOND LOWEST reading in the surveys history going back to the early 1950's.

The most important part of that announcement is that the Fed believes the economy is growing strongly and becoming more productive without overheating. Trump's economy is expanding. This will be reinforced when the third quarter GDP is released tomorrow showing how heavily growth is accelerating.

We have heard over and over again that the economy would fall apart with tariffs in place. The Fed's latest assessment provides evidence to the contrary.

GDP growth doesnt matter if your wage growth is negative.
The American consumer has gotten totally crushed by Trump's war of choice.

And no one will be buying a home anytime soon with a 7.5% mortgage rate.

No one ever said that the economy would fall apart with tariffs in place.
And if you want to be honest, Trump wound up rolling back many of the tariffs he initially put in place.

But it's a FACT that tariffs increase consumer prices.
Your President decreased affordability.

FACT.
