How about this DJT and MAGAs? MAGA Nation stacking Dem candidates and injuring people. Address this and take responsibility!

It's dangerous to be a Dem and I'm sick of MAGA making me feel that way.

Looks like this was entirely blown out of proportion and is almost entirely false.

Since when have deficits bothered the Far Left (Democrats)? That's irrelevant.

Its relevant because the GOP is the party that has long associated themselves with being fiscally conservative.

And yet the GOP couldn't care any less about deficit spending under Trump.

US students' reading scores take a dive, new data shows

You mean the Department of Graft? Mississippi dramatically improved their lower grade scores simply by going back to the basics, hard cutoff at third grade (have to be reading proficiently), reading specialists, etc..

What do you expect scores to do when you import in millions of students illiterate in two languages?

Serious question:

It doesn't sound like you really enjoy living in the United States

I think most of us on the right would argue that it's really the left who doesn't want to live in America anymore.

Oh, what's your argument for that? I feel that the left are the real patriots in the country.

vote blue and vote gavin

Of course you do.

All you have to do is look at the numbers showing the large dip in democrats being proud to be an America now vs in the past.

What do you suppose the reason is for this? Democrats just became jerks out of the blue?

I have very little pride in America, it's a place with a lot of rot. I may live part-time overseas someday for sure.

But I am a patriot for the place.

VOTE BLUE AND VOTE GAVIN

When you see how abused the MAGA movement has been by a President who conned people into thinking he was a NO NEW WARS and PEACE PRESIDENT POPULIST, but only 16% of Trump voters would change their vote, it tells me that the Republican Party is now a Cult.

Democrats couldn't even admit Biden was a vegetable until MSNBC told them it was okay

Vegetables are good for you. Democrats and the MSM covering for Biden for five years was beyond embarrassing. He couldn't even make his way off stage without help.

The Dems have never said they were people who wanted a balanced budget.

You're twisting yourself into a pretzel. When have deficits bothered Democrats? They haven't. It's spend, spend, spending.

Do you agree that President Trump should enact $240 Billion in cuts and waste identified by DOGE? The furst cut should be the easiest. And I'll accept a reduction (cut) in military spending back to $1 Trillion (not $1.5 Trillion). Deal? That will be an easy first step to fiscal sanity.

Youre missing the point.

The Dems have never billed themselves as fiscally responsible stewards. They are irrelevant to the topic.

It is surprising. But from reading an article it sounds like she went Karen-mode on security and police. That probably didnt help her situation. We must never challenge authority.

Right. I get it. Never challenge authority, not even in BLM protests, or if the authority is wearing an ICE uniform, and especially never, ever, do it in Berkeley.

i challenged authority in Berkeley when Milo visited. Would do it again. Go Bears!

Imagine throwing Molotov cocktails and burning down the campus to prevent Milo from speaking. Was it most triggering because he was also gay at the time?

Apparently the defense counsel of Ms Clancy violated every form of judicial ethics in his effort to expose and pressure the one male juror who refused to accept a not guilty verdict and stood his ground.

This interview with some of the jurors from this trial doesn't paint them in the best light IMO. I think maybe not getting over the fact that Clancy "viciously killed her children" is a good thing.

Not having been in the courtroom for the Clancy trial or seen what evidence was presented, I'm not going to judge. Remember, the crux of the case seemed to be not whether or not she had done it, but rather whether or not she met the definition of insanity.

Quote:

Even though she was still struggling with depression, Clancy denied she was having suicidal or homicidal thoughts during her psychiatric appointment the day before the killings, according to Tufts.

Clancy did say however that "she had to force herself out of bed and to get out of the house," Tufts testified.

They discussed changing medication yet again during the meeting and that the psychiatrist felt Clancy couldn't accept that she was depressed and kept blaming how she felt on the pills, Tufts said.

Clancy was appropriately dressed, communicated appropriately and had "no deficits" during the virtual appointment, the psychiatrist said.

There was no sign of psychosis and Tufts had no reason to seek an involuntary commitment, she said.

107 years apart. Same date. Same announcement. You genuinely cannot make this up.

On September 7th, 1919, Babe Ruth publicly acknowledged he was done pitching and would focus solely on hitting. The greatest two-way player baseball had ever seen, hanging up his pitcher's glove to become the most dominant hitter the sport had ever known.

On September 7th, 2026, Shohei Ohtani announced he would not pitch again this season due to left knee inflammation, focusing entirely on his role as a designated hitter for the rest of the year.

September 7, 1919, Babe Ruth steps away from pitching
September 7, 2026, Shohei Ohtani steps away from pitching (at least for the year)

The only two players in baseball history who could even have this conversation, the only two men who were legitimate aces AND legitimate MVP-caliber hitters at the same time, made the same announcement on the exact same date, 107 years apart.

Ruth went on to hit 714 career home runs. Ohtani already has 307, at 32 years old, with a career ERA of 2.75 on the mound.

Baseball has a sense of humor. And sometimes it writes storylines that feel less like coincidence and more like something far more poetic.

September 7th belongs to the two greatest two-way players who ever lived.

I am with you about not being there. But in this case we do know some facts around her diagnosis. She was treated by at least 5 psychiatrist and/at 2 hospitals. No treating doctor ever diagnosed her with psychosis, including the psychiatrist that saw her the day before the murders. They all diagnosed her with depression and anxiety. 1 prosecution witness/doctor diagnosed her with Bipoloar Disorder 2. The only 3 people to diagnose her with psychosis are the 3 defense witness/doctors who worked off the treating doctor's notes / charts and post murder sessions.

Of note:
- Her psychosis never presented before or after the murders, just those key 18 minutes <LC supporter argue the medical system failed her, she was on numerous meds and PPP symptoms come and go; that the act of murdering your own babies is so extreme she must have been psychotic>

- Those 18 minutes were interrupted for 14 seconds with a phone call with Patrick. That demonstrates control, which is contrary to psychosis, and raises questions about the validity of the Control Commands...why did they stop for the call? <LC supporters generally argue that we don't know she really had the phone conversation; Patrick says there was a conversation and he probably started the call from her watch as part of him framing her>

- If she was PPP it happened 8 months after child birth. PPP usually happens @2 weeks after childbirth because it is brought on hormone changes related to child birth. <LC supporters argue it is possible for PPP to happen at 8 months and men don't understand about women's health so they shouldn't get to comment>

i challenged authority in Berkeley when Milo visited. Would do it again. Go Bears!

UC Berkeley ranked 215 out of 261 schools by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (grade F).

Quote:

UC Berkeley lands in the bottom 25 on "Disruptive Conduct," showing student acceptance of non-peaceful forms of protest. It tumbled 130 places from last year on "Administrative Support," meaning students doubt administrators will defend speech, and 114 places on "Comfort Expressing Ideas," indicating discomfort sharing views on controversial topics.

Do better "home of the Free Speech Movement."

Not shocking when you have Cal grads celebrating the fact that they blocked Milo from his right to free speech.

Yes but I will note that the university allowed the event to go on and provided police protection. I dunno, some of this looks like FIRE blaming the university for the behavior of some students (which is also free speech).

I hear you but making it unsafe for someone else to exercise their freedom of speech is blocking someone from exercising their freedom of speech.

Hunter Biden pulling the rug. What a hypocrite

now what other scumbags have ripped off investors with worthless meme coins? Enough hypocrisy to go around here

I think you're missing the point entirely. Hunter spent the last year + lambasting the Trumps for doing the exact same thing he just did.
