You mean like Trump's wall?

Trumps 570-odd miles of 30' Wall are very effective.

You should use Fact-Checking.
You wouldn't appear so deaf, dumb, and blind here.
Or are you one of those rare birds that just enjoys being DUPED 24/7?

Facts First: Trump's "571 miles" claim is false, an even greater exaggeration than the inaccurate "561 miles" and "over 500 miles" claims he has made at other points of his campaign. An official report by US Customs and Border Protection, written two days after Trump left office and subsequently obtained by CNN's Priscilla Alvarez, said the total number built under Trump was 458 miles including both wall built where no barriers had existed before and wall built to replace previous barriers. Trump has sometimes put the figure, more correctly, at "nearly 500 miles."

Fifty-two of the 458 miles built under Trump was "primary" wall that was built in parts of the border where no barriers previously existed. The rest was 33 miles of "secondary" wall that was built in spots where no barriers previously existed, plus 373 miles of primary and secondary wall that was built to replace previous barriers the federal government says had become "dilapidated and/or outdated."

I'm not saying that any of Trump's statements are correct, but I would question your sources as much as you question Donald Trump's statements. What leads you to believe that "US Customs and Border Patrol", the "Federal Government" , and an employee of CNN, are all truthful when it comes to disseminating information? Customs and Border Protection is run by a very dishonest bird, and his trying to hide the invasion at the border is one example. Which government agency is well-trusted today when it comes to public statements? Let's start with the Center for Disease Control. How about Transportation? That's a real winner, on the sea, in the air, and the rails. Justice? The FBI? No, they are always accurate, aren't they? As for CNN, they have been in the pocket of the Far Left for as far back as my memory goes. There is a lot of propaganda out there on the airwaves, on all sides.

Let me guess . . . you actually believe that Mexico paid for the wall.

Trump was using 'pay for' figuratively. By keeping the bad guys in Mexico they were 'paying for' the wall.

He was using "pay" as in, it will make them so mad that there is a wall that it is "PAYback" for sending so many dirty criminal immigrants.

Trump is ALWAYS speaking the real truth no matter how it contradicts experts or first hand accounts or reality; AND he is always joking and just being funny and a character and using metaphor.

He's like the Bible: absolutely literally true and also parable and also up to interpretation and also the evolving thoughts of God and also the enduring never changing record of an omniscient omnipresent being. It's all things at all times and only a dumb Lib would attempt to fact check or point out logical fallacy or direct contradictions.

He got long-wanted Remain in Mexico and 28,000 Mexican troops on the border - paid for by Mexico. In one phone call.

Edit: And nine other items the State Department desired for years.

Not necessarily in the literal sense. It cost money to shelter and feed those about to be come illegal immigrants remaining in Mexico. and it cost money to have 20,000 troops stationed at the border. I don't remember Congress coming up with the money to pay for either. And the reason that wall was not completed had more to do with both of Trump's Congresses not coming up with the money to complete it. Trump found out, as did Obama before him, and Biden did after him, that Presidents are quite limited in what they can do without the backing of Congress, especially if taxpayer money is required.

He strikes me as the kind of guy that believes every word that Trump says . . .

Like how $85 Billion in "brand new beautiful military equipment (was) left behind" in Afghanistan or how not a single American soldier died in Afghanistan during an 18-month period, or how the U.S. was energy independent under Trump, or how the economy was the "best economy our country's ever had" under his presidency.

He's literally parroted these same lies here at Bearinsider ad nauseam.
He doesnt strike me as the sharpest tool in the shed.

Thanks for the laugh, reminding me how he used to say
"Worst economy ever"
then
"Best economy ever"
then
"Worst economy ever"
None of which made any sense to me. And any noticeable shift was Covid induced that had nothing to do with any president, in my economic book.

Anyways, he can't say that anymore, because
Unemployment is low
Inflation is under control
Stock market all time high

But, watch, it won't stop him.
He'll invent some new metric we should all be paying attention to and say that Biden is the worst because…

It's most likely why he's also proposed paid family leave, universal pre-school for all 3 and 4 year olds, and extended the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit . . . because according to you, he and the Democrats HATE THE MIDDLE CLASS.

Yup.
Dajo is totally lost on this topic.

Never mind that the Top 50% of all taxpayers paid 97.7% of all Federal individual income taxes while the bottom 50% paid the remaining 2.3%

Never mind that the Top 1% of taxpayers paid a 26% average rate, more than 8X higher than the 3.1% average rate paid by the bottom half of taxpayers. In other words, anyone making under $42,184 faced an average income tax rate of 3.1 in 2020.

The share of Federal income taxes paid by the Top 1% rose from 38.8% in 2019 to 42.3% in 2020.
