President Trump has asked me to do three things:
— Robert F. Kennedy Jr (@RobertKennedyJr) November 6, 2024
1. Clean up the corruption in our government health agencies.
2. Return those agencies to their rich tradition of gold-standard, evidence-based science.
3. Make America Healthy Again by ending the chronic disease epidemic. pic.twitter.com/WHMOsD0CiI

No he doesn't, but he still needs to write the check to cover his political debt. Having a vaccine denier in his Cabinet is going to cost him more than he realizes.Big C said:

I have little doubt that this is what Republicans would do. Fight fire with fire.tequila4kapp said:

I don't think the election mafia understands just how much damage they have done to their credibility.

Same goes for Legacy Media, if not more.
Three strikes, you're out.

I see the election tsunami has you rattled. Will you leave the country like dozens of Hollywood actors?
Apparently RFK Jr may oversee the FDA, and some other related agencies. MAHA.
As best as I can remember, that is not the way Trump operates. One usually has to be doing a poor job, or cross a line with him, to get fired.Big C said:

Does RFK Jr hold a position from which he can be fired?

Watching my best friend (D) deal with Trump as president...it seems only fitting that he see me deal with Kamala on the Supreme Court and Newsom as president. I hope I wake up from that 'reality'Big C said:movielover said:Big C said:

I was a little bit rattled by the election. No way am I gonna leave my own country (which I love) because of an election. To quote the "great" Patty Hearst, "I have chosen to stay and fight." Also to raise my very American kids, to party and to root for Cal Football and Basketball!
Trump doesn't care about that anti-vax stuff; he took credit for OWS and the COVID vax (broken clock syndrome). We'll see, but I think he'll drop RFK Jr like a bad habit.
Gavin Newsom in 2028!
I didn't see that. Good points. Thanks.Big C said:SFCityBear said:It's a figure of speech. You know what I meant.Big C said:SFCityBear said:As best as I can remember, that is not the way Trump operates. One usually has to be doing a poor job, or cross a line with him, to get fired.Big C said:

I guess I do. My point was that Trump will be starting with a brand new administration. Not sure what RFK Jr has to offer him, now that the election's over, although maybe Trump would like the idea of a Kennedy working for him. So Trump would just not have a position for him.
If RFK Jr gets an influential position in the new administration, then I'm wrong on this one. Wouldn't be the first time!

I'm sure she's a lovely woman. I understand she's a supervisor but I'm surprised that her subordinates actually carried out her ridiculous order. This person was caught but I imagine there must be others.
The government employees explained to the outlet that as a result of the guidance, "at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags" in Lake Placid, Florida, had been skipped. As a result, residents did not have an "opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance."

Okay, but I'm reading here that this means Democrats are trying to "steal' a Senate seat. It's only okay if Republicans do it?tequila4kapp said:That D's preached to us for 4 years how that was an affront to Democracysycasey said:

Crime clearly is a winning issue for Republicans at the local level, or rather opposing leftwing support for pro-criminal leniency like no bail, but it's not as potent in national.
