Is this the thread where we are discussing Qatar? I previously was dismissive of the criticism, claiming the plane was going to the DOD/USAF. I am here to correct the record and change my tune. More recent reports indicate the plane with then be transferred to Trump's Presidential Library in 2029. If this plane is in any way used by Trump after 2029...this is total BS. Personal gifts are not allowed.
I can see no reason for a Presidential Library to need a nearly new and lightly used 747.

Wouldn't it be used by the US Government for 4 years?
Aside from shuttling Trump to his frequent golf outings and to Mar-A-Lago, it probably wouldn't be used more than a couple of times a month. It's not like it's making a couple of flights a day like it would with an airline.

If the Trump Presidential Library paid the US Government the going rate for used 747s, then I have no problem with that. I suspect no cash will change hands though.

Yet, presidential libraries aren't private businesses. They are federally owned and belong to the American people.

OK, I didn't know that Presidential Libraries are owned by the federal government. I still see no reason why a Presidential Library needs a 747, except as a museum piece. That would be a waste of a perfectly good passenger jet.

Joe Biden has been diagnosed an aggressive prostate cancer.

If I were his family member, I'd consider adding Ivermectin to his treatment protocol as it is safer than Ibuprofen, and preliminary studies and anecdotes show remarkable success w cancers of all types. It apparently acts via multiple pathways.

You're about as uneducated as they come.
Seriously, I can't imagine what you do for a living.

Ivermectin is not approved by the FDA to treat anything other than "some parasitic worms" in humans while topical versions are available for head lice and rosacea.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised that you'd consider adding Ivermectin to a family member's treatment of prostate cancer.

I feel like all of your questions could be answered much more successfully with a review of the articles already published and a Google/GPT search.

I don't think coming to the desert subforum of a relative Internet basement with a population of around 9 persons looking for an oncologist is the right way to drive down this road.

Not pre vaxx. There are multiple doctors who report that they've experienced never-seen-before occurrences - healthy young adults presenting with stage 4 cancer, etc.

Dr. John Campbell from the UK gives a brief overview, the gist of it covered by him and another doctor within four minutes. (Importantly, Dr. Campbell was pro vaxx for over a year until repeatedly troubling signs began appearing. He typically gives a summation, and then goes into more detail. Often a dry sense if British humor thrown in.)

Also, game this out: if they are supposed to use this as "Air Force One," I don't think you can just take a plane from anywhere and immediately make it AF1. It would have to be outfitted with all the required security and functions needed for the Presidential plane. How long will that take? Probably years. So how much use will it even get before Trump's term is over and it would have to be mothballed at the library?

Given all of that, it doesn't pass the smell test that Trump only wants to accept the plane so it can sit in a library. It's a personal gift and they are trying to use a smokescreen to pretend that it isn't.

Dr. Makus here from Canada - who has authored 100 papers on cancer - outlines his observations of aggressive cancers starting in 2022.

Patients, often young, with no family history of cancer, no markers, resistant to standard treatment, and possibly a 'new pathology'.

Background: 0 - 6:30
Turbo cancer: 6:30 +

What many are missing here is that the Administration is doing nothing other than getting an airplane frame.

That $400 million dollar "gift" from Qatar is going to have to be stripped all the way down to the freaking rivets to examine for surveillance devices, then rebuilt from the studs outfitting it with all kinds of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) equipment (which is what L3-Harris does).

This is no bargain.
It's not even a corrupt bargain.
It's just corrupt.

Just an FYI:

Reagan's Air Force One was used from 1973 - 2001, by every President from Nixon thru Geroge W. Bush.
It didn't go on display at the Reagan Library until 2005, after Reagan died.

It wasn't a "gift" from a foreign government and it had been put to no use beyond pleasing kids and parents who got to walk into it and see what a traveling presidency looked like 40 years ago.

Tom, you are not in your best form this morning.

Biden's mental decline was hidden from the public for months, if not years. This was done by some cadre of White House personnel and assisted by a too friendly left leaning media. This is a stone cold fact. Against that backdrop it is absolutely conceivable that other medical issues were hidden and the American public was deceived.

It is also possible that his recent cancer diagnosis is normal. We deserve to know the truth.

So we can dislike people and disagree with their policies or even believe that people have personality traits we despise. All of that is fundamentally different from losing one's cognitive capabilities. We are talking about the President of the US, not old uncle Albert who lives in a nursing home. It is awesome that people can be flippant about this but it is a very serious matter that this was hidden from us and some other group of people were likely running the country. The movie Dave was entertaining and all but that story line always be constrained to the silver screen.

Biden and his wife's hubris is somewhat understandable- he's out of it and she is supportive. . What is not acceptable is a conspiracy by staff and party to mislead the public with lies about the mental and physical competence of a walking corpse and then replace him in similar conspiratorial fashion with a stone cold loser who had no chance of winning

Yes. It's very hard to push out a sitting incumbent if he doesn't want to bow out, but his team should have been informing him of the truth of his situation and not actively hiding it, as seems to be the case. No wonder he was delusional about what the polls said; they weren't showing him the bad ones (which was most of them).

Taking so long to finally get Biden to step down also actively damaged whoever was going to replace him, preventing them the opportunity to mount a real candidacy. Not saying Harris made all the right moves or anything, but that was a very short runway.
